"1st time customer. The burgers were horrible, tasted old. The fries had a slight essence of rotten potatoes. Nothing was yummy. My wife and I wanted to try this place, our first and last time here.The staff seemed friendly, and the service was accurate and timely. Horrible food don't waste your time and money, you'll probably vomit. 2 of 3 of my family vomited from the taste."

Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was not easy to navigate for wheelchair users, and the bathroom, although equipped with a grab bar, was too small to maneuver a wheelchair in.

I arrived a bit late to pick up my food, and the woman working at the front counter kindly re-fried my fries to warm them up. She was very friendly and personable. I have already been back multiple times. When you think of burgers in Anchorage, Max Burger is the place you should envision.

The burgers are mediocre compared to other burger joints I've tried so far. The service was a little bit on the cold shoulder side weather it was unintentional or not I was slightly uncomfortable with the service, so overall it's OK if your looking for a burger but I'm sure the Asian food they provide mat be better.

I visited this restaurant today and was pleased to discover that they use fresh mushrooms in their burgers instead of canned ones, which I don't like. The burger was delicious and just the right size, so I will definitely return. Another bonus is that it's located right next to Value Village, so I can enjoy a burger and then do some thrift store browsing.

Max's may be the best burger joint I've been to. There may be a better one out of state, but this one is hard to beat. More than a dozen burger choices made fresh to order. A staff that cares. Bare bones basic dining room, which barely matters after you get your burger. Lots of other food options rather wide ranging for a burger joint, including Hawaiian BBQ.
