"As a Titanium Elite Member, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow and we had to flag down a server after waiting for a long time at our table. Our waiter seemed distracted and not attentive while taking our order. The water service and food runner lacked personality and did not engage with us in a friendly manner. The Oysters Rockefeller had a strong fishy taste and an unpleasant texture. We returned it and it was removed from our bill. The steak I ordered medium rare arrived raw. The side dishes of mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and mushroom appetizers were overly salty and unappetizing. The Brussel sprouts were burnt. The chocolate cake we ordered to-go was not good and ended up being thrown away. None of us would recommend or return to this restaurant. Despite there not being many customers present, the service should have been better given the high prices."

We had a fantastic lunch and dinner experience at Meritage. The food was delicious, and the service from the staff was warm and attentive. The restaurant has a cozy, high-end atmosphere, making it our top choice for dining at the Marriott Desert Ridge Resort.

The food was subpar at best. It was so disappointing because I was here in September of 2023 and the food was outstanding. I ordered the meatballs and they were so dry. They seemed like they had been precooked and then reheated. The sauce on top and ricotta were good but the meatballs came out dry and lukewarm. My son got the Mac and cheese. The noodles were completely overcooked and the sauce had the strangest taste. Kind of like too much cumin maybe? My husband got the truffle pasta with chicken.
