"I visited Mesa Pizza not long ago and had a rather disheartening experience. I was waiting in line late at night with two friends when a grown man cut in front of three girls who were ahead of us. He began arguing with them as they tried to order and pay for their pizzas, making them visibly uncomfortable. As a fellow woman, I felt compelled to intervene and told the man he needed to return to the back of the line. At that moment, one of my friends had just ordered while I was standing in front of her. When the man finally moved to the back of the line, I tried to place my order but was met with an abrupt response from a red-haired employee, who was wearing a pink/red top with a black cutout. She said, "I called you three or four times, so pay attention, okay?" I was taken aback and explained that I was trying to address a situation where someone was being disruptive and making others uncomfortable. I've always had great experiences at Mesa, so I was hurt to be immediately stereotyped as the "drunk girl" who can't keep track of what's going on when I was completely sober and just trying to help. Such biases can really tarnish reputations, and I feel that mine was affected that night. In contrast, I've consistently had positive experiences at Frank and Andreas, where the staff has actively helped to diffuse uncomfortable situations for their customers. I truly hope Mesa can improve and consider providing training on how to handle potentially uncomfortable or aggressive situations, especially in regard to making women feel safe and respected."

Mesa pizza had catered a scout event I was at earlier. There pizzas are good with interesting combinations. They also serve individual slices. The photographed ones are pepperoni mushroom and eggplant both are of course is quite good.

This restaurant offers great New York Style Pizza with unique toppings. When dining in person, you will mostly find pizza by the slice available, with a selection displayed under heat lamps for easy viewing. The prices are reasonable and there is a lot of variety to choose from. Our favorite pizzas are the Macaroni Cheese, Pepperoni, Gyro, and one with waffle fries (not sure of the name, but it is delicious!). The salads are also tasty and generously sized.
