"**Quality:** The food was solid, and the drinks were delightful. I sampled two margaritas: the Spicy Mango Margarita and the Habanero Cucumber Margarita. Both were enjoyable, but the Habanero Cucumber Margarita offered a particularly unique and delicious flavor combination. For appetizers, the Steak Nachos were fantastic; I appreciated how they were layered to ensure every bite was packed with flavor. The Carnitas Burrito was okay, but it was the least impressive dish as it was a bit bland. On the other hand, the Camarones Tacos were outstanding, especially with the refreshing mango salsa. **Quantity:** The portions were generous, and the drinks were strong. **Value:** The prices were reasonable, with cocktails ranging from $12 to $15, the Steak Nachos at $17, the Carnitas Burrito at $14, and the Camarones Tacos at $12. **Ambiance:** Mexico Authentico is situated in Park Slope, featuring a small outdoor patio that is charmingly decorated and a cozy indoor dining area. Tables line the left wall, while a small bar is on the right. The walls are adorned with vibrant decorations, and lively Spanish music plays in the background. A large television is positioned toward the back but was off during our visit. **Crowd:** It was bustling for a Friday night, likely influenced by the rain, which kept many locals nearby, searching for a spot to enjoy a drink. **Service:** The staff was friendly and accommodating. **Parking:** Be aware that parking is limited in this residential area."

Delicious food, colorful decor, and fun vibe! The nachos and enchiladas are always amazing. Also highly recommend the pineapple and mint lemonade.

This restaurant offers an entire vegan menu! I tried the vegan chorizo quesadilla, and it was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed a lovely margarita. To top it all off, the staff was incredibly friendly!

Hands down the best guacamole in Park Slope. This little gem is hidden on 6th Ave. The food is tasty, the drinks are yummy and service is great. I?m a fan of their Al pastor and bistec tacos. The star of their menu is their creamy guacamole and chips so if you go, it?s a must try.

The food at this restaurant is exceptional. It's an underrated gem with a casual and rustic decor, but the dishes truly steal the show. Treat yourself to the arugula salad with Oaxacan cheese, as well as the chile relleno or enchiladas. They pair perfectly with a margarita, and the prices are very reasonable. Food: 5/5

So good! And great price for the neighborhood. We got the lamb barbacoa and the steak fajitas. I also got the classic margarita. Everything was delicious and unlike some other pricey Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood, we left full and satisfied! The outdoor area to eat is also really nice with pretty string lights. We will definitely be back!

The food was very good. I had the fish tacos. The fish was fresh and succulent, topped with cilantro, onion, mango, radishes, and avocado. I had the classic margarita (2 of them), and they were delicious! I especially liked the tamarind salt around the rim of the glass. My dining partner had the chicken burrito, which was tasty. I would definitely go back! View menu

This place is great for vegetarians/vegans. I?ve bemoaned the loss of Mexican Radio for a few years now (easily the best Mexican for years for the veg crowd), and I?m so happy to come across this place. There are at least a couple of options under their regular menu for vegetarians who eat cheese and they have an entire section of their menu devoted to vegan items. Brunch, too!

Mexican cuisine is in my top 3 and this place has a nice selection of vegan options that I've enjoyed. Their tofu chorizo is crispy, chewy, and flavorful. Love the nachos (not pictured). Enchiladas were satisfying. Scramble was tasty along with the chilaquiles. And even their fajitas were good, and usually restaurants just sautee veggies with no regard for flavor. Drinks were pretty decent. This place is in the rotation now.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
