"Unfortunately, I had an incredibly lackluster experience here. We were seated inside immediately the table was cleared but never cleaned from the prior customers , but didn?t get waited on in a timely manner. It took a really long time for the chipsand salsa to come. All those things I could?ve overlooked, as someone who works in the service industry I know that they wereunderstaffed and I?m empathetic. However, my food came out completely cold. And then it took FORTY minutes for my friend?s mealto arrive after mine got there. After about 10 minutes, I was able to flag someone down and politely ask ?hi ma?am, just wantedto check on my friend?s chicken enchiladas? the status of her food. I was then dismissed and told it was coming. About 15minutes after that, the server comes back to re-take my friend?s order. So my friend waited about an hour for her food, whichdidn?t come until 40 minutes after my food arrived. I also had to get up to refill my own water, and I had to ask for the checktwice. I would say that out of all the folks in the restaurant, 70% were frustrated with the service. Everyone was complainingto one another. Another huge issue was that their computer was down, so orders were being taken and communicated manually andpayments were taken by the servers to the restaurant next door to process. So it boils down to being understaffed and havingtech issues. These things are no fun, but the way the restaurant handled it exacerbated the issues. After a party left, theywould immediately bus the table and sit someone else, rather than waiting on the customers they already had and telling newcustomers there would be a wait. It was just a situation of mismanagement that resulted in a terrible restaurant experience formost of their customers last night. I feel for them and wish them the best, but I don?t think I?ll go back."

Delicious food, and such a cute spot! They have a pretty extensive menu and it’s quite vegetarian friendly. The service was great and we had some pretty affordable and very delicious brunch on a Sunday afternoon.

The restaurant has an authentic Mexican cantina atmosphere. I visited on a Friday evening, and while the food could be more flavorful, the affordable drinks, lively Latin music, and vibrant ambiance make up for it.

Great flavors with spatial and ample outdoor seating. Service is friendly/attentive and they have free chips and salsa to open any order over $4. They also have $6 margaritas during happy hour. We often go for their tacos and tortas see their al pastor pictured is especially tasty! ig: @harshaeats View menu

This restaurant was incredible! We had intended to go to a different place for dinner, but we ended up here instead. There's just something about the atmosphere that really captures you. The music was just right, and the food was delightful! If you love sangria like I do, you definitely need to try theirs!

I've visited this location since it first opened and I've enjoyed the addition of food options as time has gone by. The service is always superb and the food and drinks are always on point! Always enjoy the great ambiance and the option to dine inside oroutside. I've taken different groups here, work and friends, including out of towners, and everyone always enjoys it. It'salways great to dine here when I visit, since I no longer live in the area.

My wife and I have been frequenting Mezcalero since they first opened. In the beginning, they were amazing! But with time, they've gone downhill. I'd say they went from 5 stars to 3.5 stars. I really enjoy dining here because the food quality is good and the service is excellent. However, if you're in the mood for steak, I recommend avoiding the Carne Asada. It's priced at $28, while the El Albail is only $17 for a similar portion. I feel there's a bit of dishonesty in the pricing for that dish, though I'm not sure if this applies to other menu items. That said, the food is still great—just steer clear of the Carne Asada if you're craving steak.

I have been a patron of this restaurant since it first opened, and I have truly enjoyed watching their menu evolve over time. The service is consistently outstanding, and both the food and drinks are always on point! I particularly appreciate the pleasant atmosphere and the option to dine indoors or outdoors. I’ve brought different groups here—colleagues, friends, and out-of-town guests—and everyone has always had a wonderful experience. It’s always a delight to return for a meal, especially since I no longer live in the area.
