I was here on a Saturday at 4:30 PM, when they are supposed to be open according to both Google maps and the sign on their door. They were closed.EIDTED TO ADD- I was definitely at the Canby location and they were definitely not open.The doors were closed and locked. View menu

I waited about 10 minutes at the counter when it said my order was ready for pickup 10 minutes prior, because they were busy. Unfortunately my sushi was warm when I got it. And I specifically asked if I had silverware before I left and was told yes. I was given chopsticks for my miso soup.

The food at Momiji Japanese Restaurant was generally good, but I was disappointed with the cucumber salad. The sushi rolls, baked oysters, and Seared Blackened Tuna were delicious, but the cucumber salad lacked freshness and was overly soaked. Despite that, the overall dining experience was enjoyable.Food: 4/5 View menu

I was very happy with my service. I came in, was seated quickly, and didn’t have to wait too long for my food. The atmosphere was really clean with lots of plants and the food was super fresh and incredibly flavorful. Me and my dad shared the Salem roll, Red Dragon roll, and the day’s special Shotgun roll. My favorite was the Red Dragon roll with my dad’s favorite being the Shotgun roll. After we finished eating (we were both very full) we got red bean ice cream and sesame balls. The ice scream was super thick with delicious red bean bits and the sesame balls were just red bean filling in sticky sweet white stuff rolled in sesame.

The most memorable experience I had recently was a great meal that was ruined at the end—I ordered two servings of Hamachi (yellowtail), but what I got contained the part right next to the bloodline. I shouldn't have, but I ate it anyway, and was immediately hit with a strong lemon juice flavor followed by a distinctly fishy taste. Anyone familiar with sushi knows it shouldn't taste or smell that way. It felt as if they were aware of the issue and tried to cover it up with lemon juice, but it was a complete failure. I managed to get to my car after paying, but ended up leaving my dinner in the parking lot. It felt like throwing away $50. Honestly, I seriously doubt I’ll come back.
