"Boasting an exquisitely crafted menu, impeccable service and glowing warm ambience, you will be pleasantly delighted with your dining experience at this charming stop on historic Route 66... The Fourway, a family-owned business, featuring a Mediterranean-inspired menu. We were highly impressed with head chef Sam DeClue's artistry, culinary expertise and presentation and couldn't get enough of the intense combination of flavors hitting our palates. We started with a tasting of the master sommelier's curated wine collection with selections from California, Oregon, France and Italy, as we enjoyed the gigandes plaki (white beans in light tomato sauce), flavorful baba ganoush (smoked eggplant and fresh vegetables), spicy, mouth-watering duck wings and locally sourced, fresh seasonal greens. The chicken kebob and loucanico (pork sausage) were tender and grilled to tasty perfection, and the gyro was top-notch. We ended our meal with the loukoumades, tossed in sugar with cookie butter, fresh berries and drizzled with locally sourced honey. The next time you're on I-44 near Rolla, Stanton or near the Meramec, stop into the warm, inviting FourWay for an unforgettable meal you will rave about. We will be back very soon!"

"The décor was an amazing dedication to the history of Route 66 and modern day comedy of social media. For example there 's a red and white sign next to the door frame; it looks like a parking sign. However, the phrase is something similar to During fire make sure to exit the building before you post it to social media. You will know what I mean when you go. The food is good but a bit salty. The waitress, who does an AMAZING job is friendly and very good."

"So we stopped here on our way thru missouri thinking it was gonna be good bbq and it said award winning bbq. I gotta say it was definitely very nice staff and the atmosphere was great, the place is very nice inside and they do a great job. The bbq food was not good at all unfortunately, the brisket on the menu doesnt describe it as being shredded like pulled pork and its definitely not any good served this way! Ive been to many bbq places all over the country and they definitely need to have regular cut brisket and a option for shredded, also the cole slaw needs work its way to much vinager based, no real flavor kfc cole slaw is a good base line and they should adapt that style more with mayo/creamy flavor which is preferred over picked cole slaw taste. The mash potatoes and gravy was the best side we had overall it was good and i wouldn't change that. The ribs were tender but lacked seasoning dry rub like st.loius style should be. The house bbq sauces were ok but not the best ive had, the refrigerated ones were the best ones honestly. *2 of us has severe food poisoning, and my mom has minor poisoning from the food we ate, we all have been having green runs, stomach pains, nausea, and not hungry since the 27th. We are in the emergency room getting treated, I highly recommend not coming here! I will be getting a refund and billing them."

"Travelling through and had wanted to try this restaurant previously, but they 'd been closed that day. Dropped in for lunch as the menu looked good. Food took a bit, but that 's understandable given the labor shortages in restaurants these days. Fried appetizer came out greasy (to the point I had to dry them off on my napkin. Then when the main food came out, 1 of 3 dishes was missing. The waiter only then asked 'were two of you splitting a meal? ' and we informed him that no, we weren 't, and an item was missing. The missing dish came out about 5 minutes later, and what was supposed to be a hot, grilled sandwich on a toasted roll was cold on a barely warm roll. Another dish was to be Fettucini Alfredo, which should have been a slam dunk. Honestly, it was just not up to par for any restaurant to have served, much less the $18 we were charged for it. No alfredo sauce, and what was there was rather 'floury '. Heck, even the roast beef on garlic bread with au jus was 'meh '. Again, between the saltiness of the roast beef and the au jus, and the garlic cheese, this should have been a 'gimme ' as well. It was not. I love small businesses, and we made a point of seeking this restaurant out. Sadly, the food was weak. Maybe they were having a bad day in the kitchen? Unfortunately, after I 'm not going to be dropping $60+ on lunch again to find out. A positive note: Very interesting atmosphere if you are a train buff."

"I drove my semi to the restaurant, but the door was locked, and I could see a work crew inside. I tried using the drive-thru, banging on the windows, but got no response. I then walked down to the intercom, but still nothing. I went back to the window and banged again, but again, no one responded. Finally, I slid the window open and asked if I could place an order. The guy behind the counter yelled that he couldn't serve me because I had opened the window. I explained that my semi couldn't fit in the drive-thru. He simply replied that there was nothing he could do. So, unfortunately, this place has lost my family's business. Recommended dishes: Quesadilla, Soft Taco."
