"Stopped in for lunch after finding the restaurant on Google Maps..read the reviews and LAUGHED at the complainer....and went anyway! We were greeted at the door and served coffee right away. My wife had a breakfast of bacon, eggs, fried tators, and homemade bread.. I had an omelet with a bowl of white beans on the side...complete with onions on the side and a cornbread muffin. Both meals were great and we had our coffee topped off 2x without needing to ask. My wife even bought a loaf of homemade bread too! The outside is a simple red brick building and the interior is rustic...original hardwood floors and a really big room to the left and right of the door. Tables and booths are spaced apart with plenty of room. Owner Connie took good care of us and was very friendly. We will be back."

It wasn't at all what I anticipated. The atmosphere felt quite unsettling, and the food was disappointing. The owner was incredibly kind and wonderful, but unfortunately, there was just something off about the rest of the experience.

If you're looking for bad food, this is the place to visit. The restaurant is poorly maintained and dirty. This is part of the reason why small restaurants often struggle to gain popularity. In the midst of a pandemic, who would settle for anything less than exceptional?

Delicious food made to order with everything from scratch. Hostess/owner is amazing! Customer service is awesome. We found this gem while on a visit that was work-related. According to Google, this restaurant was supposed to be open, so I drove over. There were three open signs on the sidewalk and the door, but the door was locked. The place had a slightly sketchy appearance, as noted by another reviewer. I was really looking forward to trying their food since the reviews were positive, but it looks like I'll have to wait for another opportunity.

My boyfriend and I had been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time, and we finally got the chance today—and we were not disappointed! The place recently reopened after some renovations about three weeks ago, and the interior is so cozy and inviting. One person was running the entire operation—cooking, serving, and everything else—and he did an outstanding job, all while being warm and friendly. Plus, the food was delicious! I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem!
