"Great food, but the customer service is dreadful as of late. This coming from a 6-year regular. Recently, I ate there then ordered a soup to go to eat the next day (this was on a Saturday). Upon discovering the next day that there was no CHICKEN in this CHICKEN soup, I called them and it was a huge hassle to get this resolved; the manager on duty actually asked for a BANK ACCOUNT statement to prove I had ordered the soup. Finally the matter was resolved when a cashier mentioned that I was indeed there the day before, and I drove over to get the new soup. Even more recently I ordered a chicken soup to go and found out at home they messed up my order again and included cheese (I have a dairy allergy so always request they hold the cheese, this has been the case for years). Called in, manager assured me I could pick up a free soup and sent me a vague coupon. When I drove over the next day they only offered a 10% discount and refused to give up the soup. I don’t know what’s the deal with this soup, but as a regular I find it disappointing that their priority is holding onto their soup rather than treating longtime customers right, especially after they are messing up orders, making people drive all the way across town. Won’t be coming again."

I walked in and placed an order to go. The food was ready very quickly, hot and delicious. Everyone that I dealt with was very courteous!

No bad meal. Can be quite expensive for some items, but the food tastes good. If they were made their own corn tortillas and the aguas from scratches, the place could be a tasty hit. But many places cut quality for cost...

Good to have an affordable Mexican food spot near home. I went for the Melanesa Con Popa (sp). It.. it's an odd combination of breaded and fried chicken, rice, beans, french fries and a side of tortillas. Not bad flavors. Woot! View menu

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years and the food never disappoints. The recent renovations have created a cozy atmosphere, with exceptional service and top-notch food. My go-to dish is always the Gorditas, which are absolutely delicious.

Ordered a carna asada burrito and this is what they gave me and argued about what I ordered! I wanted a burrito supreme no tomato and they give me this with a soggy tortilla on the bottom of this bowl! Very bad communication skills for a employee for advertising there food!

I recently visited the reopened Mr. Taco on Northpoint in Old Milton after the reconstruction and was pleasantly surprised by the changes. The restaurant now looks more open and clean. The food was still delicious and the service was quick and friendly. I visited on a late Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. However, when I got back to my car, I realized my food containers were stacked poorly and tilted, causing some of the food to spill. This was partly my fault for not stabilizing the food tower better. View menu

4 dollar for cold chips. terrible service, ran by children. my friends burrito had only meat in one half of it and when he brought it up, the server took it into the kitchen and in 2 min brought him back the same burrito with steak into the inner, that must already cooked steak, which was already sitting there since she had brought it in less than 2 minutes. big, no excuses, just one excuse why it wasn't done right. I have eaten well over 3 dozen Mexican restaurants and this place is located at the bottom of all Mexican restaurants.

What happened to Mr. Taco? This used to be my go-to spot for (relatively authentic) Mexican food when I was working in Alpharetta. Over the two years that I visited, it transformed from a cozy, albeit slightly outdated, place serving delicious dishes to a generic and unexciting (and cold) modern Mexican restaurant. The food lacked the soul it once had, with bland or overly spicy salsas that lacked flavor. Additionally, the service became unbearably slow. Unfortunately, I had to let go of Mr. Taco as my go-to lunch spot, as it has lost its charm. I won't be returning.

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bang Bang Katsu House, and I must say, it was a great experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff, creating an inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's interior is modern and stylish and the decor of its cafe side of the restaurant was very instagrammable worthy with the floral wall. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the katsu dishes. Bang Bang Katsu House specializes in this Japanese comfort food, and their expertise shines through in each bite. The menu offers a wide variety of katsu options, rice bowls, and ramen. For the table, my wife and I shared the bulgogi rice bowl, pork katsu, and tonkotsu ramen. The tonkatsu was cooked to perfection, tender on the inside with a golden-brown crust that gave a satisfying crunch. The bulgogi rice bowl had a nice balance of veggies, meat and rice. The ramen was just okay, but it was still delicious and satisfied our cravings. The service at Bang Bang Katsu House was impeccable. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, readily offering recommendations and ensuring that everything was up to par. The food arrived promptly, and the presentation was eye-catching.To top off the amazing meal, the dessert menu next door (Cafe Bora) featured some tempting options. I couldn't resist ordering the Purple Yam snow ball and it was the perfect ending to our dinner. My wife had the Taro Milk Tea and she also enjoyed it.Overall, my experience at Bang Bang Katsu House was exceptional. The combination of flavorful katsu dishes, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere made it an unforgettable dining experience while visiting Alpharetta. Whether you are a fan of Japanese cuisine or simply looking for a quick meal, Bang Bang Katsu House is a must-visit restaurant."
