"I recently visited this restaurant with my daughters for lunch and we were blown away by the amazing food. Even though it was my first time there, Yvan went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I had a fantastic experience. Having lived in New York for almost 20 years, I know good Mexican food when I taste it. Since moving from San Francisco, I had been struggling to find a great restaurant until I discovered Nacho Macho Taco. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was fantastic. When compared to other restaurants in Park Slope, this one truly captures the essence of Mexican cuisine. They even play rock en espagnol, adding to the authentic vibe. I highly recommend this place - it's a hidden gem. Thank you for everything, Yvan!"

The food is affordable and tasty, but it's disappointing that they don't provide utensils or napkins. View menu

Generous portions. Large tacos. Popular during lunch hours. Many loyal local patrons. Guacamole served in a stone bowl. Quick service. Overall rating: 5/5 for food.

Well after passing this place several times and reading several reviews I decided to give this place a try and I am glad that I did. My friend and I were in the mood for Mexican food and with the over abundance of spots in Bushwick and the surrounding area it’s hard to make a choice. We ordered the carne asada quesadilla and the grilled chicken burrito and both were delicious. The portions were great and we even loved the salsa that came with the chips. The service was fantastic, the staff was so nice and attentive. I recommend this place for sure! Great, clean atmosphere, and they played amazing 80’s music in the restaurant. Went back today for dinner and Naomi took such great care of us. A...

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
