Nanami Sushi Grill - Menu

Nice lunch with a friend. We both have the Bento box. Beautiful presentation, generous amount and variety of dishes, very good tasting! Great service. We're going back!

Our experience with Nanami was always very positive. Usually we order to supply food. Our order is always correct and comes in good condition (important for sushi rolls). Your Teriyaki chicken Bento box is a great meal and delicious. Especially the Lover's Roll is good. Make sure you ask for a page of her spicy Mayo.

It was good. Cheap for my taste, but still good. One of my Pet Peeves was that they had no sides option on the menu. I usually get a side of Fried rice with my sushi. I've eaten a lot in the last 5-10 years. Usually, food and service is a fixed 4.5-5. But tonight every single piece of Aal on my dragon roll had several bones in it. That's definitely a problem I haven't had here yet. However, it was problematic enough to mention. If I hadn't been here before I probably wouldn't come back what a shame would be, because usually the sushi is very good.

I have tried many places around Austin and this was the first sushi was actually inedible. The spicy salmon roll was slimy, smelled insanely fishy, and was obviously on the verge of rotting. The philly roll was slightly better, but the fish was chewy and salty. The rock and roll avocado was brown and it looks like the shrimp was molding on the bottom. I attempted to eat it, but it was the worst, oldest tasting sushi I've ever had. Definitely getting a refund. View menu

We were going here for date night planning to spend a few hundred. We were probably only 2 of 6 customers in the restaurant and we sat at the sushi bar. It took about 20 minutes to get drinks which was fine, then they finally came back and we got edemame, which was great. Then they never came back to order our food or check on is so after an hour we went to Uchi and spend 200$ at that fine establishment. Don't waste your time or money here. But they do have a cool saki botttle.

I?ve been going to Nanami for years and simply love this place. The food is fantastic and the value is unmatched. I had my birthday there several years ago and they were so wonderful that I decided to host my partners surprise birthday party there this last September. They were unbelievably accommodating. They put together seating for 16, setup a table for our gifts and cupcake tower, let us come early to decorate, and even played music that my partner likes. On the food front, I highly recommend the boat for three (for two, haha) that is shown in the photo. That?s what my partner and I always have. So much good sushi. Delicious!

I tried it once more after we went once a very long time ago when they first opened and we?re not impressed. It was even worse this time. $10 ?Kani salad? that was not only the smallest of portions but just simply was some sliced cucumber and imitation crab and made at all like a traditional kani. But I was shocked at the size for $10. The baked avocado also was small and slapped together and a mess when I opened it. So an $11 avocado with imitation crab and Mayo. Then the yellow tail collar was flavorless and dry (so shocking because it?s difficult to do a collar poorly, it?s such a delicate tasty cut).
