"There are three things I absolutely loved about this bakery. First, they had a fantastic selection of items available in the afternoon. I can’t tell you how many bakeries I’ve visited that run out of items by noon. I refuse to wake up at 8 a.m. just to snag a scone because they can’t keep their inventory straight. Second, they offer classic items that are expertly made. I enjoyed a cupcake, an almond croissant, and an éclair, and each one was exceptional. Too often, bakeries can get overly fancy or focus too much on breakfast items, but Noe Valley Bakery strikes the perfect balance. Lastly, they have great marketing! I love seeing their active social media presence and impressive in-store signage. They were promoting a King Cake when I visited, complete with attractive signage and adorable packaging. I can’t wait to return!"

OMG! This is The Best bakery I’ve ever experienced. Scones were stellar and cupcakes and pastries were amazing! Not too sweet- perfect. This out of town we is hooked! Got the photo a little too late.

The cheesecakes are perfectly moist without being overly sweet, and the brownie is delightfully dense with a crunchy exterior. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced and delicious, so come and give it a try for yourself!

THE BEST challah!!! In the US! Trust me it's amazing. Only available on weekends. Best king cake during Mardi gras season too. Incredible they use the same challah style dough for it. Its incredible better than anything you'll get in new Orleans (I used to live there I am not exaggerating).

Cute Neighborhood bakery with eclectic options! They have varieties of bread and pastries. All their pastries and breads are quite delectable. Breads are flavorful and fresh. Their cakes are moist and spongy. Tried their chocolate cake slice totally addicting. Prices are bit high but definitely worth it for the quality. Will definitely go back to try their pastries!

Incredible little bakery, with a real local family vibe. Everything looks so tasty, making it extremely difficult to pick. I ended up having the pumpkin cheesecake, in the photo. It tasted beautiful and everything that my friends got was equally as stunning. Drinks also were made to a high quality. Fantastic independent bakery with a large selection of breads, quiches, cakes, cupcakes, pastries, cookies, and other savory and sweet treats. Their gourmet cakes and cupcakes are beautifully decorated and tailored to the season. Their window decor is seasonal, lovely, and very creative. The owners clearly care about their business and it shows. This place is very popular and often has a line.

This is definitely my favorite bakery! I love it so much that even after moving to the East Bay, I still drive over to pick up treats. Their flourless chocolate goodies, double-baked almond croissants, cupcakes, and carrot cake are all fantastic, but the milky way bomb is truly the star! I'm so glad it's back! Plus, the staff at the 24th and West Portal location is always so nice and friendly!
