"Normally North is a 4 5 star review and that’s why we go there frequently. however yesterday seemed not their standard. Hope it was a one off bad service. First we had a res but ended up seated after a bunch of others that had later reservations than us. We even checked with the host staff and they assured us their system was working but our 515 res saw a bunch who checked in after we did and had later reservations get seated before. Once we were seated the service was extremely slow and after waiting 45+min for our entrees, we flagged down a passing manager and asked him to check our order 1 chicken Parm and 1 harvest salad. We watched the manager go to the kitchen and ask them and then they started on our order. Seems like our order was lost or dropped? Not sure. Our waitress didn’t once come by to see how things were or explain the wait time. It was busy but they are always busy and we never had to wait 45+min or more for our meals. Very strange evening. If we didn’t flag down the manager not sure how long we would have had to wait. Food tasted great but something was def out of sorts last night."

Service and food were good. Unfortunately the mixed drinks aside from the bottled beer were not good. Maybe the bartender was new. But the drinks that we ordered weren’t good.

Our server Jbo, spelling, is excellent and very friendly. He serves us every time we go to North. He is a great conversationalist, and he remembers us every time. He is a credit to North Italian.

Host in front was very unwelcoming, not friendly and asking people to stay outside to wait for table when there was a lot of room inside to stand. It was the way it was said that was the problem as well and despite the request, there really was room around the crowded bar, plenty. It was freezing last night. View menu

we sat fast, but that's where it ended. I asked the waitress to take the alcohol list from the table, as we alcoholics recover, and she refused. the brot was hard and not warm. eating took quite awhile to come and it wasn't hot. overall the experience was moderate. I can't say I'd go back. I had better eating / service at a smaller nut / pop place. it's a shame, as I was glad to try north italia.

Our server was excellent. The food was good but not wow. They were featuring a new fall menu. My friend had the Lasagna made with short ribs and the white cream. It was okay. I ordered the Ricotta Cavatelli with Tiger shrimp and crab. It was good but cavatelli was so tiny and tasted a little too fishy from the crab. They both needed pepper, cheese or salt. My wine was great. The bread tasted much better than other times I have dined here. Overall it was a good meal for a major chain.
