One of the better Korean restaurants in San Jose. Price is very reasonable, considering they are located in Downtown, San Jose. (Japantown)

excellent food and service. small place, but huge authentic aromen. we'll be worth it. die fry squid was surprisingly one of my favorite dishes. simply one of my favorite Korean restaurants in the bay.

Food is very delicious and love it. Hands down the best Korean food I have had. We ordered mixed stones pot rice and spicy pork. We have visited multiple times and the taste has been very consistent. I will highly recommend this place. View menu

First time eating at Omogari. We were seated quickly just before 6:30pm on a Saturday evening and it was pretty busy shortly thereafter. Husband and I both ordered the short rib bi bim bop and both enjoyed it. It was super hot and was impatient so I definitely burnt my tongue a little

lively place in a fun part of many restaurants in the surroundings. our food was very good. I had a Korean rice dish with a fried egg on the bark, sweet and rice. I went for the boggi as my protein choice. I loved the crispy pieces of rice at the bottom of the flaming hot stone dish where it was served.

This is my favorite restaurant in San Jose. The food is delicious and consistent after multiple times ordering. The servings are large portions and it is super easy to order through the app and pick up. Since restrictions have lifted the dining room is regularly very full. the first time when eating in omogari. we sat just before 18:30 on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy shortly after. husband and I both ordered the short ribbing sponge boop and both enjoyed it. it was super hot and impatient, so I burned my back a little?. would you like to come back and the grilled short ribs and taste the fried rice dishes!

I got the kimchi jeongol- Kimchi stew w/ pork belly, udon noodle, tofu house made pork dumplings. It was expensive and I expect the bulk of the price is attributed to the pork belly. My jeongol had exactly 1 tiny piece of pork belly in it, the size of half a kimchi leaf. Gave feedback to the waitress who said she will tell the staff to be more careful when portioning out the stew in the future. Food was good but 2 stars because I 'm upset with the kimchi jeongol. This restaurant also doesn 't take reservations and our party of 6 waited over an hour to be seated at 2 separate tables, despite being told multiple times while waiting that our 1 table was almost ready. We went there as this place has great reviews on google. Unfortunately not veg friendly place. The staff person who assisted us didn’t share throughly what all can come as vegetarian dish. We ended up going with classic dolsot veg rice stone bowl and kimachi fried rice. They another staff member came to gave our drinks and mentioned that kimachi will have fish sauce and they don’t use vegan kimachi. We were bit disappointed and had to order veg friend rice. Ultimately it was rice overdose. Their flavor wasn’t too good as we kept adding more sauce that they gave us. Also, their ramen has chicken/ broth which isn’t vegetarian.
