"that was a terrible experience. to qualify this evaluation, we have literally eaten thunderstorms of restaurants all over the world and I am the creator of thousands of online recipes for large retailers. I'm qualified. the bar was great. the drinks were good, although the stoli doli had not marinated long enough. service is excellent. appetizers were very good. oysters from charleston were excellent. I ordered a glass sancere and was brought a very young chardonnay. at $20 a glass (almost the cost of a bottle) I complained. they opened a new bottle and poured me a very beautiful wine. should never have happened in a restaurant of this so-called hit. "here was a sound! we were in the city of wisconsin, we wanted to treat my niece to a nice dinner, but also don't want to take them somewhere where she was before. After checking out the online menu and other reviews, we decided to do so. so glad we managed to eat it! was spectacular, and our server, aaron, gave us excellent service. we ordered and dessert and were not disappointed."

"When a restaurant makes a mistake, and sometimes they will, how they rectify the situation can determine whether a patron returns to that establishment or not... Or in my case, if the reviewer will recommend others try said restaurant. Thanks to the efforts of our server Jacqueline (who was phenomenal all night) and her manager Allison, "Waterman Grille" is a very good establishment that sincerely cares about their customers. My wife and I had ordered the crab cake appetizer to split before our main course, but we noticed after one bite each that the middle of each crab cake was cold. We mentioned it to Jackie, who was genuinely sorry and took our plates away. Her manager Allison came to our table apologizing profusely, and had the kitchen prepare us a brand new order... Free of charge! The new order was perfect, & the rest of our dinner was wonderful. I enjoyed my pork chop with shredded red cabbage and johnnycake, while my wife was very pleased with her broiled codfish with broccoli rabe. We were each given a small glass of limoncello as an aperitif before our French Press coffee and desserts. Great service, a sincere desire to please (especially by our server Jackie, THANKS SO MUCH!!), a nice view of the Seekonk River... The next time we visit the Providence area, we'll be back!"

"The food here is always exquisite, but I was a little surprised at some lacking service yesterday. My husband's pork chop dish was inedibly salty, and it took so long for the waiter to return that I had already finished my entree. My husband did not want to have me wait for his entree to be replaced, so we were forced to leave with him still hungry. The waiter apologized once but did not seem to be overly concerned and did not ask a manager to come by or anything beyond just taking away his dish. We were just a little surprised and disappointed that nobody really seemed upset that he was leaving hungry. Probably will not return here again."
