"While the ambiance of the restaurant was very nice for our group of six, the food left us all a little underwhelmed. After waiting nearly 45 minutes after our appetizers had been cleared, our meals all arrived somewhat bland and overcooked. For an Italian restaurant, we were expecting good, fresh pasta, yet all six of our pasta dishes tasted as if they'd been sitting for quite some time. In fact, two people described their dishes as if they'd been sitting under a heat lamp. The restaurant was quite busy, and mistakes happen, but we were all really hoping for it to be great and it simply didn't deliver."

Gnocchi was incredible. Very cozy intimate space and great menu selection. Skip the polenta fries...

Perfect pre-theater meal. I was very pleased with the waitress's suggestions. Loved the pasta /shrimp/squid ink sauce and the honey ricotta cheese cake.

from the stele tasteless brot to the flat brot, which was thin like potato chips, to the palate 3 scallops and tasteless bolognese sauce we were disappointed. will not return.

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. Firstly they have an amazing happy hour every day that is really good value. The food was above average and service was good. It's cozy and the location is great. Would definitely go back. View menu

A bit annoyed when we were seated 45 minutes past our reservation, however the manager made up for the inconvenience by buying our group a round of drinks at the bar while we were waiting for our table. Appetizers were fabulous and most entrees did not disappoint I did have higher expectations for the gnocchi...

Service was a little slow that night, perhaps due to a private party. The waitress never came back to check on our food and took a while to flag her down to get the bill. Had to rely on bus boys to get us extra bread and more water. Food was good but pasta portions were on the smaller side. Veal meatballs for started were good. View menu

I was here tonight. I thought this place was nice, pretty romantic, but he wasn't at all. it is a very loud place, people stand at the bar that is right next to the entrance. music was so loud that I could not even understand what my friend said when she was sitting before me. I would recommend something else if they wanted to have dinner.

this was our 2nd time in pagani because we really enjoyed our first trip. the waiters are very nice, although they have not brought out bread until we served our worshipers. I ordered the ink cat cavatelli, which was actually only average, though fresh. I enjoyed other dishes, although the fountain was excellent. her oxtail ravioli was not her typical ravioli, which was very unique, tasteful and full of meat. wine selection is very good, my first time a lambrusco, which is a sparkling red wine. beautiful mood on a Saturday night. the prices correspond to the west village.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
