"I really appreciate that Paolo is there to welcome you; it’s clear that this is his business, not just a group of employees. Everything is made on-site. He showed me his retail freezers, where you can choose from a variety of frozen ducks. You can take one home, let it defrost a bit, and then cook it in the oven for 35 to 55 minutes, with specific cooking instructions for each duck. I ordered two: the broccoli rabe and sausage lasagna (my favorite) and the chicken parmesan (my girlfriend’s favorite). Paolo also offers several types of dried sausages and a selection of gluten-free dishes. I highly recommend this place."

One of the best places around ! There is an extensive gluten-free menu! The crack Balsamico is from this world! Get some A.S.A.P.

I tried the Easter Pizza Rostica and was really good. In any case, I would like to try more dishes. The service is very warm, both personally and by phone. Very recommended. View menu

I like that Paolo is there to greet you, it is definitely his shop, not a bunch of staffers. They make all of their food on premise. He showed me his retail freezers, where you can pick and choose from a large variety of frozen entrees.

I was really looking forward to trying the wings, but they turned out to be quite disappointing. They tasted like pre-cooked frozen wings or something similar. I wasn't impressed at all. The mac and cheese was just average, too. I ended up spending nearly $100 and ended up throwing most of the food away.

Paolo's Kitchen is an incredibly cozy spot with delightful food! The ingredients are definitely fresh! They offer both ready-to-eat and frozen meals, and both are excellent. We just purchased some frozen dishes to enjoy at home in New Jersey. The owner is very friendly, too. Be sure to place your orders and support local businesses! View menu

Amazing food. I visit New Providence every year and every year I see this place. I always felt like eating there. Only this time I had a chance to go there and check out what they have. They have good varieties of Italian dishes. They also have microwave ready food items that you can buy. My meal was amazing. I loved it. I wish I had stayed a more days to explore other dishes in Paolo's. May be next year I will go here many times and try out all of them that is available here. Wish I get a discount

I visited the farmers market in Little Falls last Sunday and I really wish I had gone earlier this year! I picked up some items from Paolo’s Kitchen, and they were absolutely amazing! I enjoyed it so much that I returned this past weekend to get even more. Every single thing they offer is delicious! I plan to go back again next Sunday to stock up. The owner of the stand is incredibly pleasant and helpful. When the market wraps up for the year, I will definitely be driving to New Providence to grab all my favorite foods!

"We have been eating here for years. The food and service is always good! However, it was not our experience Friday night (7/30/21). We were seated outside. It was not clear who our server was. We brought a bottle of wine… the waitress only brought one glass of wine because it was the only one available. As per her, they did not have enough glasses for the clients that were at the time dining. 10 minutes later we called another waiter and asked for another glass of wine and if they could open the bottle. The service was extremely poor. I lost track of how many times we needed to call a waiter to ask for the basics when you are dinning. They only served us water at the beginning (only once), dirty dishes were not remove from the table… no one came to check on us or make sure if the food was okay. Every single table around us was complaining. We saw a couple that were seated and 15 minutes later left because no one came to take their order, not even to bring them water. We really like the food of this restaurant, but we do not understand why they are seating so many people outside if they do not have the staff to serve them. If there is a labor shortage you need to plan accordingly, maybe you need to reduce the number of tables you are trying to serve at the same time. Dining should be a pleasurable experience… it is sad that the poor service and poor management impacted what was supposed to be a good time."

"Went here for dinner on a Friday night and was seated right away. The owner, Sonny, came over and greeted us. He was kind and so welcoming. The decor is pretty and and cute for date nights. We ordered the mango shrimp appetizer, samosas, butter chicken a side of garlic naan. Mango lassi and ginger chai for drinks. I asked for brown sugar for my ginger chai which they didn't have but Sonny went out of his way to get them for me from another store. Exceptional service! Mango shrimp 9/10: shrimp was fresh and firm. Sauce was so good! Missing a bit of depth but honestly still really good and would reorder! Samosas 10/10: initially we ordered the chicken samosas but we were given the vegetarian ones but honestly it was so good that we didn't even mind it. Sonny came over and personally apologized for the mistake. The vegetarian samosas were served on a bed of chickpeas in a kind of sauce and it was *chefs kiss*. Definitely would recommend! Butter chicken 10/10: I've only had butter chicken twice and this is honestly the best. It's flavorful (not salty) and the chicken is so buttery (soft and juicy). Garlic naan 8/10: a bit too soft but was still really good and garlicky; I prefer my naan a bit more crisp. If you like naan on the softer side, it would be perfect for you. Nonetheless, it's still so good for dipping in the butter chicken. Overall, Sonny's kitchen is 5 and a 10/10 would highly recommend. The food is probably one of the best Indian food I've had and the service was unmatched. We already want to go back and try other dishes!!"
