"I was excited to see the cafe reopen in October. It's the only place in this area, opposite of Back Bay, where you can sit down and order breakfast at a reasonable price. They are currently limited in some of their offerings as they rebuild their business, but this is common for most restaurants. You can still get sandwiches for lunch and soups are back! The service is fast and friendly. Their coffee (I believe it's the brand Downeast) tastes great and doesn't cost $5.00, but don't expect lattes and cappuccinos on the menu. If you appreciate a traditional cafe-style restaurant, you will enjoy this cafe. You place your order at the counter and pick it up when they call your name. If you prefer places like Dizengoff, Stephanie's, Life Alive, and Thinking Cup, this may not be the right spot for you. It's popular with office and construction workers in the area, as well as students at Bay State College. It's not fancy, just good food, good prices, and good service. The owner is always present and works alongside the staff. (Located inside the Park Square Building, the same building as Fire + Ice and Circular Furniture.)"

Great and friendly staff with great food at a more than fair and affordable price. I'd give them 7/5 stars if I could. Heavily under rated.

This restaurant is a great spot for a quick breakfast. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. It's not as pricey as hotels, but still not too expensive. View menu

We returned for a second visit after our first experience was nothing short of fantastic. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel like you've stepped into a Greek family home. We ordered the chicken and beef pitas along with a few sides and desserts, and both times our food arrived quickly, was absolutely delicious, and left us feeling completely full. We will definitely be back!

The chicken rice plate it very good. Bukhlawa dessert is very tasty and fresh in the lunch hours. The red and white sauces add good taste to the food. They end up finishing the food very early in the afternoons that you've to wait for rice or chicken to be cooked. That is the only downside of this place. Sometimes during lunch, some musician plays Persian music with their traditional instrument. Long lines during lunch hours. Prices are decent.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
