I went to breakfast with my family and I only ordered an arepa and they had full plates and my arepa was the last to arrive. It took 40 minutes and arrived burnt, the meat was very salty, the attention of the despotic waitress and we did not feel neglected even for a glass With ice we waited 10 minutes and we had to go to the bar to order it, very bad service.

Parrilla y Sabores in Hartford offers some of the finest Latino cuisine in the area. The Colombian flavors are delicious, and the exceptional customer service deserves a 5-star rating. I highly recommend trying the empanadas, which are flavorful and perfectly crispy. My favorite entrée is the Saltado de Pollo, which pairs well with a Piña Colada. Be sure to come hungry, as the portions are generous!

Being Colombian myself, I was super excited for this place. The first time we came here last week it was amazing and exactly what we ordered and more. Today, we got shorted an empanada and arepa, AND our beans seem to be moldy… when I called about our order the lady was very nice but the cook she was speaking to IMMEDIATELY became defensive until he REALLY looked at the ticket and realized he genuinely overlooked our sides. Not to mention my dish was supposed to come with mushrooms which it did not. Seems to be a nice place but clearly their cooks are not all on the same page. Wish we had whoever was in the kitchen the first time we came by but after today, I’d rather not take my chances her...
