"Food came out quick but by the cooler temperature of the meats, you could tell it had been sitting out quite some time. Burnt ends were ok but many were dry chewy. Got one rib with my two meat plate and it had very little edible meat on it. One of the worst ribs I’ve had anywhere dry chewy with little meat and mostly fat and bone. Paid over $18 for a handful of burnt ends, one dry chewy rib, 2 sides (coleslaw and bbq baked beans) and a slice of Texas toast. The sides were the only thing decent. Service consisted of a waitress dropping off the food and a different counter person coming by and asking how the food was just before I left. Couldn’t even get anyone to refill my drink for me. Gave it 2 stars for the slaw and beans, otherwise would have been one star. Way overpriced for the poor quality and small portions that you get. I won’t be back."

I give a 4 star because the ribs could be a little more delicate. The chopped chicken was wonderful and so were all sides we had. Backbeans, Mac and cheese, Pasta salad. Food: 5/5

Best barbeque place in Northwest Arkansas. They have the largest loaded potatoes. Lots of tasty large assort.homemade cookies. Fresh squeezed lemonade. Barbeque is sweet. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

We ate here just before closing on a week night. Food was delicious and service was great. Lots of fun penguin decor throughout the restaurant. All together a great experience. We’re from out of town but will definitely be coming back whenever we’re in the area.

It was a cozy place with prompt service. The food came out fairly quickly. The brisket however was not very good. It was tough and had a lot of fat in it. The beans and coleslaw were alright and the wings my son had were good. Overall in my opinion there are better bbq places in town.Food: 3/5 View menu

Pretty good bbq stop. Brisket was desent and the chicken was a little dry. The sauce was awsome and made the meat taste better. Not what you want to accomplish for the meat but it was good. The sides of beans and pasta salad were also pretty good. Not a bad stop if your in the area. Wouldn't drive far to go back.Food: 4/5

Probably a little known fact about Penguin Ed got them big wings. The signature sauce is something of a combo between traditional hot wing sauce and BBQ, like Buff a queen. Penguin Ed also understands details. The pages receive as much attention as the main courses. Beans are exceptional. Even the salad cheeses are well seasoned. And they also have great cookies.
