"The price per plate was $135, which I thought was quite steep. Unfortunately, the lobsters were overcooked and chewy, resembling rubber. The crab legs were similarly overcooked; they fell apart into mush as soon as I tried to remove them from the shell. I also ordered a filet mignon, which didn’t even resemble a proper filet. I requested it to be cooked medium, but when it arrived, it was also overcooked and dry inside. Clearly, they lack the skill to cook steak properly, and I was really let down. The desserts were hit or miss. The cakes and pastries were excessively sweet, making them nearly inedible, but I did enjoy the fresh fruit—it was cold and delicious. The chocolate-covered strawberries were a highlight, but unfortunately, I couldn’t enjoy much else. I left feeling completely unsatisfied after spending $135, and I wouldn't consider returning. On a side note, I lost my partial denture, and the staff was kind enough to rummage through some trash for me, showing a lot of effort. However, the manager interrupted and wouldn’t let me look for it, stating it was my choice not to continue. His attitude was quite dismissive, and it felt hypocritical when I saw staff handling food without gloves just outside. Despite the beautiful setting and the hope instilled by the reviews my sisters and I read, we all left feeling let down. At least I came away with some nice pictures, but paying $135 for a meal, I expect far better quality food—something that was lacking here. While I’m glad others had a good experience, in my humble opinion, the food didn’t live up to the hype at all."

"The food and drinks at this restaurant were delicious! We each ordered two of their tasty cocktails, with the Rum Runner being our favorite - smooth, fruity, and topped with a slice of orange. Another highlight was the tuna appetizer, which had a fresh taste and delicious sauce with scallions. The calamari was also good, perfectly fried and not rubbery. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and soaking in the nice evening. Overall, we give the food a 5-star rating."

"I was somewhat disappointed in The Cove Restaurant. I orders the Chicken Cordon Bleu of the special menu for September 1st, 2024. Chicken Cordon Bleu is supposed to have the ham and swiss (melted) cheese inside the wrapped chicken. The chicken I had was a flat piece of fried chicken that had to be commerically purchased and just recooked in a deep fryer. So the flat chicken cordon blue came with a couple of piece of ham placed on top and the the cheese sauce. The dish also came with mash potatoes that were to peppery in taste. We the patrons should have been notified in advace that there will be extra pepper mix in with the mash potatos. I was not a happy camper for the chick cordon bleu that I order of the special menu at $24.95 which was not worth more that $15 at best! So I would be somewhat reluctant to go back."

"Surprisingly casual, Sly Fox Den Too is an indigenous restaurant run by a Narragansett woman who won the James Beard award. Going in, I expected the atmosphere and prices to reflect that, but I was pleasantly surprised with a more laid back vibe and very affordable prices. I loved the outdoor seating area, and would have really enjoyed eating there on a warmer day. The interior felt like a casual diner, with a few decorations, books, and articles in the entrance and a TV playing in the dining area. The service was friendly, and you could tell it was family-run as there were a few kids playing in the back which added to the casual feel that I really enjoyed. The food itself was good, but I went in with really high expectations and was let down just a little. The Sly Fox Benedict was delicious, and the venison sausage was fantastic. The sides were what disappointed, with the home fries being just and the Three Sisters rice being the biggest let down. However, the Cape Cod Cranberry Lemonade I decided to splurge on was nice and refreshing. Overall, the meal was satisfying and I really enjoyed my visit. If I wasn’t moving soon, I’d definitely make a return trip to try out more of the menu."

"Had a lovely birthday dinner here for a family member. The place is very cool and casual. Indoors, the AC was pumping, and it was playing loud music. We sat outside where it was more quiet and laid back. They have a big area for playing cornhole and even had a concert starting in another area. The concert was far enough away that we could hear it, but it was not loud or distracting. The food was very good. It has a German- American-Seafood vibe. Everyone was happy with their meals. Would definitely return. Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! They have a kids menu, and the tables are all that high-quality plastic, so it's hard to ruin anything. The kids can also run around in the yard area and play games."
