Awesome atmosphere on the second floor backyard . That area is for reservations only so be sure to book ahead! Food was good but overpriced (Not a surprise due to the location). Nice Covid-friendly weekend outing. FYI- the second floor is not dog friendly.

My mom and sister had dinner last night at the Picnic Society by Gwen at the Grove.They said the food was fantastic, real nice outdoor seating , the service was great. But the best part that made the evening so special was the way they were taken care of and treated by the assistant manager Susie, she was so kind beyond words, she helped make the evening special, My mom loved it there too!

Super delayed in writing this review and in the midst of the lockdown I am truly missing outdoor dining!! Picnic society has a gorgeous and relaxing ambiance. Located right at The Grove- highly recommend making a reservation! Service was A1 from the moment we entered. I wish I could remember our waiters name, he made my birthday lunch so awesome! Excellent patio space especially upstairs. I suggest making a reservation to be sure you are seated where you like. Service was great. Food was great: I recommend that raw seafood options (lobster roll, raw bar tower, or.. and the charcuterie; they were all great. Wines are very reasonably priced, rose wine was terrific. Pro tip: because it is a pop-up, they can not validate Grove parking. However, if you spend $250 (which is easy with more than 2 people , the parking lot valet will validate with a receipt.

This pop-up picnic-themed restaurant might be easily overlooked, but the food is incredible. I ordered the half lobster and the Impossible burger, and both were simple yet delightful. The lobster was exceptionally fresh, and the chef had already prepared it into bite-sized pieces. As for the burger, the caramelized onions paired perfectly with the secret sauce, making it far from ordinary. Every single fry was crispy and golden. I did notice some complaints about rude servers, but fortunately, my family and I didn't experience that. Everyone we encountered was very nice and polite. We definitely had a wonderful time here.

This review is for their online platform. I have not purchased from them yet due to online issues. I wanted to purchases their picnic basket that was available for home delivery. It was not specified in terms of when the delivery will happen, so I instead emailed them on their website to ask for delivery times because I wanted to get our basket the day I needed it. Fast forward today, zero response. I tried to go back to their website to order assuming it's either same day or next day delivery since the timing was perfect now. The hostess seated me at a bare table next to a dirty window in the shade, without any heat lamp. It was clear they recognized me since I made the reservation through OpenTable. All restaurants know that I typically order a lot of food, take a few photos, and then leave in about 30 minutes. I guess this place isn't the most considerate. A smart restaurant would engage with you and offer a friendly atmosphere. What was once Dominique Ansel's restaurant at The Grove is now occupied by Curtis Stone's Picnic Society by Gwen. Interesting theme here even though you can't eat indoors and most of the picnic theme furnishings are indoor, a teepee picnic area upstairs and indoor picnic area. Anyways, we came here to try this place after checking out the adjacent stores. Of course dining is outdoors. Heat lamps make this place cozy and comforting. Saw this place on my friends Instagram story and the place looked so cute and food looks pretty good as well! My coworkers and I decided to make a reservation on a Saturday afternoon and when we got there, we were seated right away. The place looked really cute!
