Was disappointed today. Never was greeted by the young lady behind the counter. Never asked what kind of chips I wanted when I know the my offer a couple choices. Then at the end I learned there is a loyal point system and no one has ever asked if I had my number in the system... food is great just disappointed in staff today.

We loved this place! We needed a light lunch since we had a evening plans, and this place was close by and sounded nice. I had the Cuban sandwich and a side of potato soup, and my mom had the chicken salad on a croissant with a hashbrown casserole. Both were fantastic. We also got a pie split with a buttermilk vanilla pecan slice and a strawberry rhubarb slice. If I?m ever in town again I will definitely stop by again! View menu

To be fair, I usually enjoy bold flavors, but gravy shouldn't dominate the entire meal. Being pregnant has changed my taste buds significantly, making me more sensitive to certain flavors, and some that I once loved have become aversions. We ordered a pie sampler to share, which included buttermilk pecan, apple, chocolate silk, and cherry pies. Unfortunately, no one liked the chocolate silk, and the cherry was underwhelming. The apple was mostly dough, but the buttermilk pecan was excellent—definitely worth coming back for once I can enjoy it with coffee again. The sampler also comes with ice cream, but I didn’t try it, so I can’t comment on its quality. Just a heads-up, it’s a seat-yoursel...

Let 's start with the positive. The food is still good. I had the pot pie and it was excellent. The back of the house is killing it. I came in a few months ago, and the table side service was terrible...food for two people delivered 5 minutes apart, servers not writing stuff down (and also screwing up the order , slow drink service, etc... I was in Conroe for business and decided to give it another try because we used to go all of the time and it was amazing. They have since switched to a counter service model that hasn 't been thought through very well. They had two people working the counter both on the business land lines....one talking to a customer, the other berating a fellow employee...

I was hoping to edit my review but I can't. I have family in Conroe. We live in s w Houston. My family was treating me to a birthday lunch. So I researched restaurants that allowed a dog on patio. That search ended at Pie in the Sky. I contacted the restaurant just to make sure it was all good for a dog to come along. So we did visit on my birthday. We were 2nd party on the patio. Gradually each table became occupied. Weather was ideal. Sunny and not warm. Cute appearance of restaurant. Down to the detail. We made our way to the patio. Sat down.
