"This review is based on the quality of the food. As it should be. The restaurant does not have a high end “vibe” but the staff are friendly, the place is clean, and the food is on par with the best Sushi I’ve had anywhere. This is a sushi restaurant. They are kind enough to have some options for those who don’t like sushi. However, this is a sushi restaurant. It should be based on the sushi, and the sushi alone. The sushi here is freaking great! I was not disappointed with one thing, and that Never happens, as I am super picky. We had the following: 1 order each of Escolar nigiri, and Salmon Nigiri. Hawk Roll (minus the cream cheese as I allergic to Milk) Godzilla Roll Spicy Scallop roll Yellow Tail roll x2 Come getcha some!"

Costly: $17 for lunch. Teriyaki chicken Bowl. But, I always save half of it for the next day. Great service. Nice patio. And I enjoy the fish tank!????

Delicious ???? ????. I had the Island Roll. It was a hearty roll. It came in about 8 pieces. This is nice size dining area; not over crowded. Remember BYOB. The roll tasted as good as it looked, Appetizing.

This place is amazing. Prices were low considering the quality. I had the yellow tail maki roll and the escolar sashimi. Both were so good and perfect for lunch. Very casual atmosphere. You order at the counter next to the sushi bar. Small place but very quaint. I will definitely be going here regularly

First time visiting. Small Sushi restaurant in Canyon Lake, was pleasantly surprised. Fish was extremely fresh. I had the Nigiri Sampler, my wife had the Red Dragon Roll. The noodle bowls being served to other people looked really good too. I liked the BYOB policy if that's your thing. Definitely will be back. View menu

This is probably the best sushi I?ve ever had. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. Chef Eric and Chef Edy are so friendly and accommodating. I love that there?s keto options too since I?m pregnant, there?s only so much I can eat at most sushi places but there?s a ton of options here for me. 10/10 will be making the drive back after the baby so I can eat all of their rolls.

If you are at the lake or If you would like to get away from the city and go on a scenic ride to Canyon Lake you just try Pier Sushi. Everyone is so friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. The Sushi Nachos are next level good (make sure you have a friend to share with it because it's a generous portion) and the Shaggy Dog did not disappoint. My husband had the special of the day and it was so yummy; it was called the Sesame Chicken Crunch. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is inviting.

"Absolutely amazing food. I have only been a few times, and each time has been perfect. I have only gotten take out, never eaten inside. I have worked all over San Antonio and tried many different Mexican restaurants and drive thru’s. There’s a term I use to describe Mexican food, based on its quality and how it’s prepared, and that term I use is the word ‘sloppy’. (NOT the term I’d use for Las Barcas). Lots of Mexican restaurants have drive thru’s, and often times the meal is placed ‘sloppily’ into the Togo containers, no care for its preparation. Sloppy beans, sloppy layout in the Togo container. At Las Barcas however, the food was laid out beautifully in the container, and was clearly put together with love. It was a meal you could drive all the way home with and fully enjoy once you get there, and feel like it was prepared politely just for you. Beyond the great service and preparation, it tastes incredible. The steak fajita meat seems quality, not gross cheap meat. I got the beef fajita burrito con queso. Even the inside of the burrito was not ‘sloppy’. It was clearly made to order and I could not be happier. There was legitimate care put into the $20 I spent, and they’ve won me as repeat customer. Please don’t sleep on this place. Give them your business if you haven’t already! They’re sweet on the phone, they’re sweet in person! Go there!"
