"It’s not much to look at from the highway, but once you’re inside it’s not a shabby place at all! The seating area is surprisingly spacious and the employees are very friendly folks both as servers and cashiers. We had a younger gal wait on us and she did a wonderful job nailing the order and checking back in. Domestic and craft beer are cheaply priced, and the food arrives in massive portions and is really quite good for a very reasonable price. The roast beef dinner had that homemade feel, and the side salad was fresh and crunchy."

Very friendly place. Waitresses take time to make sure everything is good and check back to see if you need anything. The food is amazing and priced well. One of my favorite places to eat. Well worth the stop.

When traveling from Chicago to WI, we often stop off here for a fast bite. Service is great, and so is the food. Staff is always very kind. I finally tried one of their tempting doughnuts and was not disappointed.

Today 8/28/21 the afternoon team made a HUGE DIFFERENCE compared to the morning team. The lady who took care of our table, with feathers tattoo on the arm, was super extra polite. And a guy was very kind with my kids. What an amazing crew

The food was amazing. We have Sunday dinner, Pot Roast. Amazing price for what you get. The service was perfect. The girls were really great. There are also a variety of goodies. My husband said the cookie should die. Would definitely come back here.

One of my favorite places to stop around the Madison area. Trucker diner that cooks to satisfy! Been eating here for over 20 years, and have never been served a questionable meal. I'm about to eat a steak as big as my face way cheaper then any major franchise. View menu

I visited this restaurant on my way home from a doctor's appointment. Although it was quite busy, our food was served promptly, and the staff was extremely friendly. The bakery items looked absolutely stunning! I couldn’t sample any due to my health issues, but I couldn’t resist taking a picture of their cream puff. Wow!

Good food at reasonable prices for a truck stop. They also have a lot of baked sweet treats for dessert from their own bakery. The place looks dated and it's set up like an old diner with a few counters. Their selection of food is very extensive and they also offer daily specials, so don't be surprised if you can't always get meatloaf here. If you can't find your favorite get a cheeseburger instead they're awesome.

"I would have easily given this place 5 stars based on their food. However, the service and pricing were completely ridiculous. We were seated, and an older couple came in after we sat. I watched the owner point to a table without looking at them, and even though the woman said something twice he ignored her and kept walking. Not exactly a way to get return business! The look on her face said it all. After we placed our order (and the order was read back twice), the waitress brought our appetizers, but no plates to put anything on. Finally got some after asking, but then the older couple asked for a condiment, and the female owner literally snapped her fingers and pointed to the older couples table. Which the whole restaurant saw. Extremely unprofessional considering that she could have helped them, but instead went into another part of the restaurant and sat down. The waitress was the only one working and there were a handful of tables so she was super busy and definitely inexperienced. Our food came, and the waitress never cleared the table and then told us the kitchen made a mistake on my daughter's eggs. She wanted overmedium, but they were scrambled. She told us we'd have to pay extra for new eggs and the toast that she ordered. She had a complete meltdown about it, but she kept looking at the owner in a panic. That tells me he is not very business savvy and cares more about money than customers. What policy says that a customer should pay for your mistake? Also, why is your policy that if someone wants toast instead of pancakes, they have to pay $4?? I suggest taking a business class and retraining your staff unless you don't want to stay in business. I'm willing to pay for a good experience, but $100 for what we got was not worth it. Your food is good, but your lack of customer service, high prices, and business practices are certainly in need of an overhaul!"
