"2013 Update: I absolutely love this place! Although it's tough to leave without spending at least $300 per couple, every penny is worth it! We've been dining here for several years, and the chef is truly incredible, while the service is always delightful. One of the best perks is watching the sun set over the stunning Hanalei Bay with a delicious glass of wine in hand. We started with poached eggs topped with caviar and foie gras brûlée—absolutely fantastic! For my main course, I had the amazing pepper-crusted big eye ahi, and my husband enjoyed the wagyu tenderloin. We also shared some perfectly creamy mashed potatoes. The sauces and the presentation were simply beautiful."

"This was by far the best dinner restaurant we found in Kauai. We did have to wait an hour to be seated but luckily they have a texting service so you can look at the shops while you wait for a table and believe me it is worth the wait. We had thebroccoli, the papas ajos, albondigas, and pizzetta. They were all amazing and we were full after these! Make sure to stop in!The staff was very friendly as well! Thanks Bar Acuda!"

"THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST FOOD WE HAD ON THE ISLAND!!! And we are huge foodies and pretty much stopped at all the best places on Kauai. It was incredible and I will be dreaming about it for awhile. My partner ordered the Churro French Toast and it was so so good!! I have never really been a huge fan of french toast but this had a thicc caramelized cinnamon-y crust and served alongside whipped cream served in my favorite form in a heaping pile! It was amazing!! I ordered the Kauai Garlic Shrimp and it was TO DIE FOR!! I would take that lemon garlic butter sauce's hand in holy matrimony. The only part of the meal that was a disappointment was that I got full and couldn't finish my delicious, soul-comforting food. Do yourself a favor and make sure to eat here while you're on Kauai, you won't regret it!!"

"A large supermarket with almost everything you need for your household. The only downside that I saw was the pricing. I felt it was a bit inflated than average. I totally agree with the location and other logistics issues. Anyways a good place to get things if you miss anything for your trip."

"June 2023 Cute little spot. There's only a couple of tables so seating can be limited. Service was helpful with any questions we had. My partner ordered the local burrito, and I had gotten a veggie eggs benedict. She had never had kalua pork before so this was a treat. I had tried to add avocado to the benedict but unfortunately they didn't have any extra since it was saved for other dishes. She definitely liked the local. The sausage and the kalua pork played well off of each other. It was a bit heavy for her though but a nap worthy burrito isn't necessarily a bad thing. The veggie egg benedict was a good fresh take and the hollandaise had a good bite to it. Well balanced for the dish and wasn't too much on the amount. Well worth checking out. You might have to take it to go or eat at your car but there's a good amount of parking and it has charm in bounds."
