"I am from Chicago and visiting for a few months, and I just have to give Pit Stop a big thumbs up. I have tried good brisket from Chicago, Illinois, Arizona, Miami, McAllen, Texas, and various parts of Georgia, but I must admit that Pit Stop's brisket tastes better than any other brisket I have tried, including Chicago's. What stood out to me about Pit Stop's barbecue is that I tried it cold and it still melted in my mouth. Oh my goodness!"

Customer service was good but the portion of the chopped brisket sandwich was much smaller than in the past. It's the size of a Junior burger. Won't come here again. 2 sandwich combos for $26 isn't right

I wish I got a picture of the food but man you can smell that smoked goodness from up road! The brisket is rockin and so are the ribs and chicken! I visited Chicago for a few months and I just want to give Pit Stop a BIG THUMPS UP because I cost good brisket from Chicago IL, Arizona, Miami, McAllen TX and a few parts of Georgia, I have to admit that Pit Stop Brisket tastes better than any brisket I already mentioned Chicago?s. How I recognized Pit Stop?s Grill is that I ate it while it was cold and it STILL in MY MOUNT OMG??

Oh my goodness, this is the best BBQ brisket in the area. We come every year for the Rio Grande Bird Festival and this restaurant is always a must-stop for lunch. Today, they did not disappoint. We heard that they are under new ownership, so we were worried that our favorite spot would change. However, they surpassed all our expectations with excellent food, service, and value. You must try this place, it is so good. 5 stars!
