"we enjoy eating at preston’s because it is a pleasant experience. food quality is uneven and disappointing. we had difficulty getting the right wein. our server had little experience with wine selection and service. the wee we chose, however, was excellent-Montinore estate pinot noir. our appetizer choice was tweepering rings that were common. Entree options included lachs, ribeye and huhn. the rib was most disappointing because she was not prepared as ordered and was a very thin steak. laughs and huh were okay. the highlight was preston's underwriting pudding. a wonderful desert."

Great breakfast option while visiting our Hokie from out of state. The buffet was great and well stocked. Would eat here again

We didn't order any appetizers. But our entrees came 45 minutes after we ordered. Otherwise, the servers and hostess were very nice.

the breakfast buffet and the food was cold. the foods had expired and were not refilled. this year's buffet was disappointing, this has been an annual family dezember tradition since 2013. View menu

Friday night seafood buffet is really wonderful. Large wine selection and great service. Only reason I scored a little lower on ambiance is the family at the table next to us discussed politics and Corona virus the entire time

Being my first trip to Blacksburg and staying at The Inn where Preston's is located was the best thing i could have done. The food is excellent along with the service and staff. The bartenders were out of sight and everyone was very friendly and made sure that my friends and i were taken care percent

what a fantastic experience. the holiday vibe was strong in the 4th adventssonntag and they made my moms after the party celebrated their 90th birthday so much fun and if you need something special, the chefs would handle it better than you imagined it. the service was great and accommodating from the chart. highly recommended! Very uninspiring food here…son’s burger was average, fish and chips were decent, my blackened shrimp and pasta dish arrived looking like a big bowl of soup with pasta and shrimp floating around—very odd. It seemed like who ever cooked it did not know how to make it correctly. Our waiter was very nice, so didn’t have the heart to return my dish. They need to revamp this menu and the ambiance—both are bland.

Enjoyed the pre-show dinner package which included a limited menu of 3 entrees with salad and dessert. The entrees were cream heavy but tasty. The serving was ample. Service was slow with our drinks and salads arriving rather late and our entrees arriving before we finished our salads. Biggest disappointment was no bread pudding which is Preston's signature. Too bad it's not available. Pre-show package is a good value. Will try it again.
