"LONG BUT WORTH THE READ!!!!!We Drove all the from Massachusetts just to try this place out. We had reserved for 20 people on 2 different accounts with the same name. The restaurant had approved the request for the rsvp, so there shouldn’t have been any confusion. Even if there was any confusion they did not call us to confirm…. The service was extremely poor and the personalities of the employees were very rude and unpleasant. They made us sit outdoors in the heat, with mosquitoes everywhere and only 2 small fans. Even though, they had an upstairs fully equipped with seating and Air conditioning, apparently another party of 20 had booked it so they wouldn’t give it to us. Come To find out at the end there was still nobody upstairs and they had lied to us about the second party. Most likely because they didnt want to serve 20 people upstairs which meant they had to go up and down tooMuch. Another negative thing is they force you to pay a certain percentage of gratuity. We would leave a tip more than expected had the service been even a fraction bit better. The food was average.We are extremely upset about the way we had been treated as guests coming from miles away just to eat here. They did not even acknowledge the fact that they had made mistakes on their end. Will not be going here ever"

I absolutely love this place! It never disappoints! The Lamb Gyro is consistently tender and perfectly seasoned, and the Vegetable Bolani is delicious.

Really great food and friendly service. Lamb gyro and Chicken Adana were excellent. Loved the rice. Don't miss out on the desserts either. We tried the chocolate baklava and the Biscoff cheesecake and they were divine! View menu

My favorite restaurant!!!! The lamb Kabuli Pulao is exquisite (as is everything else). The atmosphere and service is wonderful! They have outdoor seating options during the summer as well as traditional Afghan-style seating upstairs.Also, their shir chai is the best tea in New Brunswick!

This restaurant has a variety of dishes but can't help but pick the butter chicken. The chicken is fresh and cut into small pieces which is then spread out into the creamy butter sauce. The freshly baked bread that comes with the dish provides an even better taste. The service here is excellent and the people are friendly. I rate this restaurant a 10/10

Absolutely horrendous experience! The food had hair in it, and the place was filthy. The customer service was terrible, with staff members displaying significant attitude. On top of that, the prices were ridiculously high! By the way, they don’t seem to be Pashtuns; they appear to be Indian or Bangladeshi, so the food is neither Afghan nor even close to authentic. I drove over 30 minutes, with more than four hours left before closing, only to be told by the server that we couldn't dine inside because they had only one server, who couldn't handle cleaning up after us. The restaurant had just one occupied table, while the rest were empty. It's such a disappointment because I used to enjoy their food and considered this my go-to Afghan restaurant, but I won’t be returning again.

I ordered the lamb and chicken platter for two, which was reasonably priced given the variety of meats. The Bang Bang shrimp were outstanding, and the chicken cubes and kebabs were delicious. The lamb kebab was decent, but the lamb cubes were slightly overcooked and dry, despite my request not to overcook them. However, the lamb chops were excellent. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely order from here again.
