"Very nice German establishment with classic dishes and a simple but exciting menu. There are several vegan and vegetarian options; the eggplant schnitzel with vegan mushroom gravy was delicious as were the sides: braised red cabbage and potato cakes. We started with a pretzel that was excellent, very much a stand out as it was buttery, warm, and had a perfect golden crust. The drinks are equally delicious whether you opt for alcohol or without. This visit I got the Pear Zero, and it was very tasty; last visit I had it s alcoholic counterpart that was equally good. Parking was easy, the staff was welcoming and attentive, and everyone in our group enjoyed their experience. Vegetarian options: Options are clearly labeled and there are many different choices, about 20-25% of the menu."

Delicious German food in Elkridge! Our table shared a platter which had a choice of up to 4 schnitzel and/or wurst with 2 large sides. Great deal for our party of 4. The beer selection is great too!

I had my 60th Birthday meal at the Rathskeller. Our first time eating at Rathskeller and it was awesome. The waitstaff was friendly and the Jager schnitzel was delicious, the Spaetzle (with cheese) was fantastic as well. Definitely going to eat there again. Roger N.

Our food was delicious, the staff was knowledgeable, and the basement area has such a great pub vibe. If I had to complain, our delicious jalapeño poppers which kicked every other popper ever out of competition only came with three poppers and there was two of us. Not a great split. Otherwise, I have nothing to fault them on! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

First time visitor and we were not disappointed. Started with the buttered pretzel and ordered the two wurst plate with two sides. Both the wurst and the sides were incredible. Red cabbage and the German potato salad. We finished our meal with the Black Forest cake. My wife said it was the best she has ever had. I have to agree. The service was very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to returning to this restaurant soon. :

"I was driving back from Baltimore to the Fredericksburg, VA area on a weekday and was really interested in enjoying some Pakistani food (not Indian, nor Persian, and definitely not Afghan I searched and saw there were lots of reviews (hundreds on social media for this place, so I stopped in. It's not too far off the highway, so it was easy to get to. The inside was really dingey and rundown (but don't let this bother you, you're there for the food! and there was a laminated menu on the counter to look at... The couple that runs it was there and the guy was friendly and helpful. I was in the mood for karahi, but I was by myself and typically restaurants make this for two people, so he suggested I get chicken curry. It took about 10 mins to make. First thing I did was taste the broth (the curry sauce and it was spot on AMAZING!!! Then I ripped into the naan and took to ripping chicken of the bone and enjoying... I scarfed that dish down in no time, and there was quite a bit there! The basmati that came with it was very tasty! And he brought me a ramakin of yogurt chutney (this is how chutney is supposed to be! it was fresh and soothed the spice of the dish. Regarding the spice level, he asked how I wanted it and I told him I was Pakistani to make it for me the same way he'd eat it and they got is right! Naan was excellent! Perfectly cooked, but the dough was great! Nice texture and flavor to it! Overall I enjoyed my lunch and would come back! Definitely a place that sells all the typical kabobs, but don't sleep on their curries!!"
