"Today was the last day I will ever eat at Rays. For 2 people, total bill 2 chicago dogs and 2 half and halfs of onion rings and fries. We spent over $32. Thinking we would get a decent portion it was just embarrassing. When I asked for water cups the guy said yea you can have em, and told me to fill it up my self. The sink being behind the counter… if you are looking for a hot dog and a side and a drink go check out A&W in Dexter and you can pay half that. OR go get 5 dogs and two large root beers in Ypsi at Bills for under $15. Highway robbery…"

Food is good; but the prices are a bit much. Not really sure why? Food would be 4 stars but the prices drop this one down for me a bit.

This place is a casual place to go get a bite to eat. I wish I would’ve tried it sooner, I’m such a fan. I’ve only ever had good experiences and the workers are so cool!

Cute, old school vibe. Had to go in cause I saw they had a tofu dog. Didn't expect an actual strip of tofu grilled up not hot dog shaped or anything. That's a first but it was tasty!

It's always a delight when your order looks just like the advertisement. Using quality ingredients and taking proper care in preparation results in an excellent dish and leaves customers extremely satisfied. View menu

$6.59 out the door for a single Detroit Coney Dog. Not worth it. Looked like a skinny store-bought dog. For the price I was expecting a more plump dog. Terrible value. Might be worth it if a bag of chips were offered.

This charming little spot serves delicious hot dogs and fries! The milkshakes, while fun with their variety of flavors, were just average—the taste didn't meet my expectations and lacked the richness I prefer. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy a casual meal!

I grabbed 2 dogs and some waffle fries. It was ok. Wish the hotdogs itself was a little meatier... but it tasted good. I got the regular waffle fries, no extra stuff on them. They were ok... I should have got the seasoned ones. I would come here again because I love a good hotdog. I would also love to try their shakes. View menu

Smashed Food is incredibly overpriced. The quality of the food is disappointing. I ordered the hot dogs and sausage, but the sausage was burnt and tough. I honestly question whether these hot dogs are even made from 100% beef. The fries and onion rings tasted bland and unremarkable. Save your money and consider trying Fleetwood instead; it's more affordable and significantly better in taste—while not perfect, it's definitely a step up from this place. Plus, they use 100% beef as well.

The $5 coney dog was a mess and super small. The shake was good. But it was small also. Most def for a toddler. ? Totally not worth the $8-9 I spent. (Just my opinion) I may try something different just to give it another shot because I’ve heard decent things about the pull pork sandwich. But that Coney Dog… they can keep that. It really didn’t taste good. And at this point I’m questioning if that was a “Gourmet” beef hotdog. (Didn’t give Gourmet)I probably should have went to the 711 around the corner. Lbvs ??‍

"Came here on my first ever visit to Michigan. After reading the reviews of other Halal restaurants, this specific establishment caught my eye. Upon arriving, I was greeted with a long path to the entrance and warm smiles. I came approximately one hour before closing but the service was exceptional. Comparing this establishment to similar restaurants in Astoria, Queens, New York, this restaurant in Michigan is significantly better in many ways. First, the food tasted fresh. The only thing that tasted microwaved was my beef stew, but it wasn’t bad. There was a young man helping my family and I with our meals and service was quick. My soup was good, however, I would prefer it to be thicker. They have robots that can deliver food, but we preferred a human helping us instead. Menus are on iPads and they have birthday services. We were also allowed to bring our pet Cat which is good because many establishments are not pet-friendly. I enjoyed my meal, the Moroccan Beef stew, but for this meal, I would hope that they put more meat next time and less vegetables. One other thing to note is that they prefer cash tips. The starter bread is really soft but the garlic butter is slightly overpowering — it wasn’t bad, though. My mango smoothie tasted like it was made with real fruit but tasted more like a blend of fruits rather than solely mango. Even with that, the smoothie was still really good. We ordered a platter for 2 and the meat tasted fresh and was cooked to our liking. Overall, if I ever visit this part of Michigan again I would definitely visit Palm Palace as their food is good, service is excellent and the restaurant has a nice ambiance and is well decorated overall."
