"I love New England Chinese and have been looking for a good place to get Chinese from. I Ordered from Red Lantern based off of the reviews. The only thing true about the reviews is freshness! The food itself was personally gross to me, not at all what I expected. I couldn't believe how expensive it was for the little amount of food. Crab ragoons were super thin not at all enjoyable. The rice was ok. The noodles had no flavor. The sweet sliced pork looked like someone opened a can of dog food and poured it, tasted like dog food too. I will never recommend or eat here again."

Good food, good service, and decent ambiance. Folks are friendly and attentive to the guests. I think it's one of those underpriced spots with great potential.

The food here is fresh and delicious, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend starting with the salt and pepper calamari. For the main course, I enjoyed the Kung Pao chicken and the beef with bok choy—both were fantastic. I will definitely return to try other dishes!

Holy moly, the Hong Kong-style barbecued pork and eggs are absolutely out of this world! I've never encountered bok choy in wonton soup at a Chinese restaurant before, and it was quite off-putting. I ended up picking it all out of the soup. If they’re going to serve wonton soup, they should definitely avoid adding bok choy—unless that’s what they're going for!

The dining experience was fantastic! The food was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. The staff were very friendly, and the relaxing music added to the ambiance. The portion sizes are generous, making it great value for a family meal. As you can see from my photo, two of us enjoyed a delicious meal for just $21, and we even have leftovers for tomorrow! We'll definitely be back! View menu

Just had pork fried rice for lunch. 10 bucks for enough to feed 2 or 3. They had some good looking lunch specials. Rice was super flavorful and the bbq pork was plentiful. The employees seemed bored, but it might have been that it was super hot in the store. I found myself covered in a light sheen of sweat after a few minutes of waiting. Not a huge complaint since this seems more like a take away than anything.

gem hidden here. much better than the average Chinese cuisine restaurants that all look the same as each other. the food tastes better. it is not pre-packed müll heated as with most Chinese small restaurants. and the crazy thing is that is the same price! the midday specialties are great and they can be a big teller of their favorite Chinese dish for about $7. they cannot beat this price if the quality is so much better.

Wow. I'm pretty shocked at the quality of this place. It's an order of magnitude better than the typical hole in the wall Chinese place. The food was cooked to order, everything was fresh and hot. Everything about all the food I ordered sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, orange chicken, egg drop soup, and especially the crab rangoon) was very good. Hat's off to these guys. It wasn't very busy when I went which makes me think they aren't doing too well. And that's a shame. View menu
