"Alert: Please designate the main floor for your dining experience. My elder partner who dined with me on Christmas Eve navigated the step up for the elevated dining area just fine when the host seated us and said, watch this step up. However, when we were leaving, my friend forgot that step, maneuvered through the narrow aisle around the wait staff and stepped down, despite holding onto his cane, and fell onto the floor. Many other patrons helped him to stand. Shattered glass rang out from the nearby unoccupied table that he disturbed in his fall. Obviously, that step and the narrow passageway through which patrons need to enter and leave the area, are dangerous to a person who is physically challenged. The food was great, and the service was wonderful. The parking lot was treacherous, as it had not been cleared well of snow and ice."

"I love this place! I first discovered it in OCT 2019 during the trip to Madison for work. I live in Las Vegas. I eat here several times per work trip. The food is delicious, the owner is great, and the service is always great. I don't like traveling to work, but I'm happy to come to Madison for this restaurant. The Mango Coconut Curry, Bajji, 15 beans soup, coconut cauli-chowder, samosas and more are all so tasteful. I will always recommend this place to the staff and I look forward to many more meals of The Globe! Thank you for the delicious food and for being hello and friendly."

"Very bad experience. We came in at 730 or so today and were incredibly disappointed with the service. It felt like we were entirely isolated and had no service unless we signaled someone or got up out of our table to ask waiter to take our order or provide silverware (the most basic aspect of the service industry). Service needs to be improved as our waiter was more focused on his phone than the actual customers. Food and Drinks The chai had spoiled milk in it and therefore was terrible. This was confirmed by the chef once she tasted. No apologies or anything other than telling us the chai sits all day outside. Do not get it if you go in late for a dinner. Food was decent nothing amazing for authentic taste. Momos were the only highlight for me. Due to our poor service we had to wait for our food and extra bread for thali."

"This place was recommended to me, so the next time we visited Madison we really wanted to check this place out. We decided to stop in on a Saturday for lunch. We were greeted promptly and shown to a table right away. For a weekend, it was kind of busy but not super busy, which was nice because we were really looking forward to enjoying some Sichuan food. We ordered the Spicy String Beans (very well-seasoned and tasty), the Shredded Potatoes with Spicy Sour Sauce (a bit heavy handed with the vinegar but cooked perfectly), and the Spicy Crispy Chicken (very crispy and not too spicy). Overall, for a Sichuan restaurant, their spice level was actually on the milder side. I would have preferred a bit more kick in their dishes but other than that all the dishes we ordered were delicious and hit the spot. Service was casual but friendly, and our food came out only a few minutes after we ordered. We were pleasantly surprised by how fast our food arrived because we were hungry and ready to eat. They don't have their own parking, so you will need to resort to finding street parking. Would gladly come back again."

"The food was disgusting, we returned 6 out of 7 appetizers that were served to us. The poor quality meat is poorly cooked and has a bad taste. They calculated every last cent of the bill. Shame should give them the lousy customer service and the lousy quality of the food with the years they have on the market !!!!! I will never return and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Expensive and lousy in every way"
