"We went to the restaurant for Sunday brunch with a party of 2 and found it to be clean and spacious. The hostess and servers were friendly, with Colin providing great service. He was attentive, made good menu recommendations, and had a friendly and energetic demeanor. The food and drinks were served promptly and at the right temperatures. The shrimp and grits were flavorful, while the snow crab omelette needed more seasoning but was still decent. The Groundbreaking drink I had was just right in terms of sweetness and strength."

I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood (raw bar), especially the crawfish pot pie. They have a great variety of beer. There are more items on the menu that I want to try. I will definitely be returning!

The live music was amazing, the drinks and service were both top-notch. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the dish I ordered. I would definitely return for the drinks and live music. Next time, I'll explore more options on the menu.

The food and ambiance was great. The deep south cocktail was my favorite! I had the rex burger and my friend had the chicken and dumplings and both were really tasty. Don?t sleep on the fried green tomatoes and the sweet potato pie. Would definitely go back!

Fantastic Quality and service my wife and I went recently and loved the new location and menu. The service was top notch and all food was fantastic. In particular, we enjoyed the Frogmore Stew, Scallops and cannot best their burger. Brian and the team were welcoming and attentive throughout our meal. A must try in the city! View menu

We are looking forward to going back to The Rex. The salads were fresh and delicious, the desserts were out of this world, especially the milk and cookies. Our waiter was delightful and every dish looked scrumptious. We can't stop thinking (and dreaming and fantasizing) about the milk and cookies. We will definitely be returning!

Tonight was the first time I?ve ever eaten here, and I must say, it was PHENOMENAL! I had the bone in pork chop and braised green! My daughter had the crawfish pot pie, and my friend had the shrimp and grits! Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned well! I also ordered the Hurricane (drink) and it was delicious! I will definitely be back before I leave town!
