"The Tres Leches is my fave! It’s soo good. There’s this one employee who seems to always be there, male, who is very rude, impatient, and just seems to hate his job or has a bad day everyday.. for once there was another worker, young female who was so polite with another customer, I was so relieved I didn’t have to deal with the same rude guy but just my luck, he came out from the back like he was angry and of course, I got stuck with him.. I wonder if this is the same rude employee others wrote a review about years ago.. I hope it’s not the owner.."

They have the best cheese danish! I bought a Princess Cake for this Christmas-which I have done many times before. Since I bought it several days in advance, the clerk recommended that I freeze the cake and take it out to thaw four hours before serving, which I did. Unfortunately the custard layer on the bottom did not thaw with the rest of the cake and it turned the sponge layer into a watery mess. I do not recommend freezing this cake!

I’ve frequented this bakery since their East Urbana days! Their cakes and treats are fantastic—especially the fruit tart. Unfortunately, there’s one staff member with a less-than-friendly demeanor. He comes across as rude and lacks good customer service. On the bright side, another employee was exceptionally kind. Despite the mixed experience, I’ll keep coming back for the cakes. If the unfriendly staff member doesn’t improve, though, I might reconsider.
