The bar manager Jessica took good care of us and made sure we had a great visit. We will definitely come back.

Fun little spot with pool tables and pinball! Some classics too! Had a few drinks and hung out till last call. Really relaxed pub vibe and cool aesthetics inside!

Used to come in pre pandemic used to be awesome,Went back to a rude manager on duty and staff that ignored its customers. I used to work for the company and I know this happens too much here. Absolute joke. We came in for drinks after dinner and they said my wife was “slurring her words” so they would not serve our table. My wife has an accent and when we were asking who was the person slurring, the server pointed to wrong person before saying it was my wife. Looked like they just wanted off their shift. Won’t be going back ever again.

This restaurant is a fun place to visit for a unique experience. The decor is quirky and eclectic, giving off a circus-like vibe. The menu offers a good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. The chef works quickly, ensuring your food arrives promptly. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly, making for an enjoyable dining experience.

As with all McMenamin’s, the ambiance is what it’s all about. Check the pictures. The Crystal Ballroom is upstairs, so when there’s an event, like a concert, it can be busy and noisy (boomy).The burgers are good, as always. The service was slow, as happens sometimes at McMenamin’s.All in all, a good downtown experience but if you want fine dining and great service, look elsewhere.This place is all about the vibe. Just like every other McMenamin’s location, the atmosphere is the main draw. Take a look at the pictures. The Crystal Ballroom is located on the upper floor, so when there’s an event like a concert, it can get crowded and loud. The burgers are consistently good. The service was a bit slow, which can happen at McMenamin’s sometimes. Overall, it was a good experience in downtown, but if you're seeking fine dining and exceptional service, you might want to explore other options. Be careful! The service and the food were terrible. The 1st 1/2 hours we were there, we sat and waited for someone to get our drinks order, of course until then we had decided to eat. It took 1/2 hours before the food showed up and no drink or cutlery, so another 10 minutes we got drinks and a fork, then we had to ask for napkins. Then everything was cold, the burger was so pink, it was unpredictable. Finally they take credit card for tab, 10-15 minutes later, they come and tell me that they lost my credit card. Now I'm in Portland without a credit card or money and hadn't checked into my hotel yet. Go somewhere, but here every truck would be better.

We had a terrible experience when trying to enter for dinner. Our friend was coming down the stars slightly off kilter due to her dyspraxia and we were denied entry due to the person at the door assuming my friend was intoxicated. When we tried to explain we were told any attempt to explain was further going to confirm we were drunk. We asked if he could do any other assessment and were denied. We then went to talk to the manager, not to ask to be let in since the decision was made and we didn’t want to stay at this point, but just to share what had happened and get an apology for our friend, but all we found was excuses about how they had 7 seconds to make a decision and too bad.
