"There are plenty of breweries on the west coast. Portland has more than its share, and Rogue is among the best. This makes opening spots like this a low risk venture, because even average food is made better by fabulous beer on tap. Fortunately, the food at Rogue Hall is actually fantastic. I have been a couple of times and as a group we have probably tried most of the menu. Their pizzas are very well done and a perfect accompaniment to a good beer. They have it figured out because you could come with a group and those who didn't want to drink have delicious food, and those who don't want to eat have an extensive beer menu."

This is such a low chill spot. The service was great and food came out hot and fast and really tasty. If you are looking for a small beer pub with nice patio area .

Good vibe with pool table and table games. Didn't try the food, but the beer was pretty good across the board. The service was acceptable (it was not a problem...just noting)

Amazing beer, but the burger was not good and I threw up that night for some reason. It’s 4 star because it’s a brewery and their beer is actually damn good. Good brewery, just not the best restaurant.

2 of 4 people got food poisoning. They both had the steak bites and spent the next 2 days vomiting. If it was a stomach bug their spouse would have been sick too.... we weren't. Don't recommend.Food: 1/5 View menu

Phenomenal time here. Service was unmatched. I will never go to any other brewery, by far my favorite. Food was so good. Drinks were incredible. Leigh and Thomas were so incredible. Best night of my life.

Fun beer hall in the PSU area. Food and drinks are good. They only carry Rogue beer and liquor. Their CBD seltzers are delicious. Parking can be tricky as it's all street parking in the heart of PSU.Food: 4/5

I've visited Portland many times and somehow didn't know this location existed! The beertender/server was really cool and sweet to us. Got my big bday beer. Had a great time. They also have a pool table, I think they have other games too. View menu

Very nice pub right on campus. Good spot to hang out for lunch or in between classes. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere. Nice fireplace in the middle and friendly staff. I had the Original Unoriginal sandwhich which was one of the best I've had in a long time. I recommend checking it out.

I drive my bike out of the pizza two times: I found out that they have limited slices, so you'll get there early next year. I love that they have a picture of their farm on the wall, the food looks good that I enjoyed a delicious beer for my problems, the staff was very friendly. The beer was full, but I took the picture after my first few sips. I loved learning about the special nitro glasses and enjoying the chocolate stout mixed with a hazelnut Brew:

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
