Kitchen didn’t seem equipped to provide items ordered on a prompt basis. Manager recognized the problem and was kind enough to discount the bill.

I've gotten breakfast multiple times while visiting the area and it's been a consistent good breakfast. Quick, but not rushed. Decent value and relaxing before a days work .

Because of the reviews I went in with average expectations however our food was amazing! I got the pan seared salmon with brussel sprouts. I was extremely surprised at how great the flavor was and the crust was perfect. We also got the loaded bbq cheese fries as an appetizer and they also were extremely flavorful. This restaurant has gone downhill since the renovation and turnover they did about six years ago. The breakfast menu and buffet are pretty good, but past that it's lacking, especially for the price.Service did improve quite a bit this year, which was nice to see. That had been one of our biggest complaints in previous visits, but this year I had far fewer problems with time.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Root 29. We both ordered burgers, and they were incredibly fresh and tasty. The food was good, but the highlight of our experience was the ambiance of Root 29. The decor is clean and welcoming, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a stunning view that makes you feel like you're dining among the treetops. We will definitely be returning to dine here again.

The three-course dinner we had during restaurant week was delicious, nicely presented, and affordable. We really liked it. The only downside, although minor, was that there was no host to welcome us at the door. Instead, a sign instructed us to find our own table. It was a small issue, considering how wonderful the dining experience was, but I prefer to be greeted and escorted to a designated table, especially when I have made a reservation. View menu

Resturant is located inside the double tree hotel. I had a nice seared salmon on grilled brussel sprouts. The bar is right there also so you could have a drink. Very fast service and food turn around. The restaurant does not currently serve deserts but will be starting I was told I'm March or April of 2023. The menu is limited but you have enough to choose from if you don't want to go out and stay in the hotel.This resturant also serves the buffet breakfast. For 16.00 or 17.81 with tax a great breakfast spread.

It’s a shame this restaurant is so well decorated with beautiful touches all around, however that is not enough to save the mediocre food and service. You can also tell when a place is dead on a Friday night that’s not a good sign, although granted it is in a hotel. Drinks were slow and the bar couldn’t make mocktales (or at least server didn’t know what it meant), burger was raw and had to be sent back, and had to ask for kids menu and crayons for 4-year-old (should be standard).Our saving grace was a BOGO coupon otherwise it would’ve felt like a waste. They should throw in a complimentary visit to the pool to ignite interest in this place, otherwise it’s a hard pass

My mother and I decided to try Root29 despite some mixed reviews on Yelp, as they had a promising menu and favorable reviews on their website. When we arrived, we were greeted with a "Please seat yourself" sign, which I found strange given the menu pricing. We selected a side table in the open and elegant restaurant, which was not overly formal. Our waiter, although kind, seemed overwhelmed as he was also acting as the bartender and doing inventory. We ordered drinks, a Pinot Grigio for my mom and a Strawberry Basil Collins for me. Although our waiter initially didn't have fresh basil, he made the extra effort to get some from the kitchen.
