"Pros:-The coffee is really strong-10/10 key lime Pie!-Cook/Hostess was super friendly-Turkey roast dish was decent. probably no longer get, but it wasn't the worst thing I hadCons:-you gave me a tonne greener bean. they gave me so much that I thought I was with my mother? at least the waitress didn't tell me to finish all my sweets before I got dessert. - she was pretty busy, so it took a while until she got my order and got my tail. tldr; finally a good place to check! I'm probably not gonna get the turkey back to the roast. recommend the coffee and the limette cake!"

I had the grits, eggs, and scrapple with toast and a side of biscuits with sausage gravy and it was everything. My friend had the veggie omelette with turkey sausage, homefries and toast. Everything was great, portions good, coffee was good. Nice diner.

I love that they offer an breakfast buffet for $19.50 they have a small free parking available. I ordered the french toast package breakfast option and it perfectly met me before my bike ride. the grapefruit juice was perfectly fresh. service was fast and friendly especially my waitress liz.

local favorites with a bit of history on the menu. General portions to breakfast, lunch and dinner. basic diner tariff prepared in southern tradition. Besides, in front of the place parking in the center of the old town alexandria. and you never know who could pierce the door or stand next to you (is that what I think it is?? View menu

Local favorite with a bit of history on the menu. Generous portions at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Basic diner fare prepared in the southern tradition. Plus, onsite parking in the center of Old Town Alexandria. And you never know who might walk thru the door or be dining in the booth next to you (is that who I think it is...? .

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, which offers a breakfast buffet as well as the option to order individual food items. They also serve mimosas! You must wait in line for the food items, but the servers are the ones who serve it to you. Although the ribs were dry, the chicken was really delicious! Follow them on Instagram at @punk_pagong.

This place is typically awesome and has an amazing super friendly staff. But a couple of days ago I went for the breakfast buffet and something was off about the sausage gravy. The sausage gravy tasted old and the meat tasted like it was freezer burned. Out of all the times I've been there this was the worst, I didn't complain and paid my bill but man.......let me show your cooks how to do sausage gravy please I won't even charge!!!! View menu

The food was delicious and well served by the server named Ana. She took great care of us and made sure what we wanted and was so knowledgeable about the price on side orders. Everything we need was nicely put together at the table. We didn?t have to keep requesting anything. I am very impressed and happy to visit this historic restaurant. I love it and would recommend this to anyone who wants a cozy place to eat with excellent service.

Food was delicious. Prices were reasonable. The only downside was that they assume we didn't speak English [just because we are latinos]Once we told them we are bilingual, our order was taken and food was delicious. Not sure what that was all about but I just hope people learn from their mistakes and not judge a person from their color of their skin. If you're in town, its a really good breakfast spot. Walking distance from the Holiday Inn hotel on First and the marina. We

"This place really helped me adjust. I later learned that people gravitate towards certain bars, and I found my favorites, especially those with live music like Birchmere, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, Lincoln, Capital One Arena, and even the now-closed O'Shaughnessy's and Rock & Roll Hotel. One of my most memorable experiences was running into Rory Sheridan on one of my first visits. He was launching his DC music campaign back then and was part of Loud Boyz. We chatted a few times, and I even caught up with some old classmates. Another highlight was when I heard about a “reunion” night before Thanksgiving, and I decided to crash it. There were moments where people could be unkind or I felt out of place, but I was given some guidance on where I would fit in better, without the unnecessary drama. Being in Old Town, I was familiar with nearby schools like West Potomac, Mount Vernon, and Bishop Ireton. During my visits, I would often take an Alexandria cab or use Metro Access, being discreet about my disability since I felt embarrassed at times. Being a regular meant navigating the tourist scene, and there were people who seemed territorial about the place, but I ended up doing quite well when I sold my house. Good times continued with events like watching RG3 play for the Redskins or meetups organized by JT. I enjoyed New Year’s celebrations and weekend outings. I also frequented other establishments like Flying Fish before it closed, and O'Shaughnessy's before I decided to stop drinking. This is a sports bar located near a bicycle shop, close to the Ben & Jerry's I used to work at, along with many other walkable bars for bar hopping, like Union Street Pub and Fish Market. It can be a great place to have fun, but with the good comes some downsides. Overall, I felt well-hosted and respected here, despite some things I was not initially aware of or didn’t want to uncover."
