"I ordered take out for my family from Rubio's and overall we thought the food was too spicy, not very good, and barely warm. I ordered online, got there about 5 minutes before the food was supposed to be ready and it was a little late and we ate the foodwithin 10 minutes of it coming out and it was still barely warm. They were fairly busy as they were running a promotion for alocal high school which I think is fantastic by the way. Restaurant was mostly clean, one of the employees was scrambling toclean the tables. The staff was friendly and the manager came out to the folks in line to politely tell them they were runninglate which I also thought was great."

This location has been pretty slow service the last 2 years, however the food has always been tasty. There appears to be less staff, because they ask the customers to get things that the staff use to bring with your meal. Utensils, napkins, etc View menu

Rubio's Coastal Grill consistently delivers a wonderful dining experience. I recently sampled their new beer-battered shrimp tacos, and they were amazing. The shrimp had an ideal crispy texture, perfectly balanced without being too heavy on the batter.

Let's see. Step up. Place order. Get a paper cup. Go to fountain. Pour drink. Wait for order number to be yelled out. Pick up order. Go get napkins and necessary utensils. The question of amount of tip seems out of context with what just happens. Whybeg for a tip when the customer isn't really treated any differently than at a drive up window?

REVIEW update 7/12/22 Today I decided to try this Rubios again for Taco Tuesday. The service was quick even though they had a long line. And the Fish Taco especiales were the absolute best I've had at any Rubio. The Fish portion was huge, they lookedperfect and they tested delicious. First visit at this location. Tip, the CA Bowl is 90% rice. Thought I'd try somethingother than normal Fish Tacos but I think that they should stick to what they are good at. As the Bowl just wasn't it. View menu
