"I'm a big fan of the Grilled Chicken Gourmet Tacos and The Original Fish Tacos. Today, I decided to try the California Burrito at Rubio's, but it didn't impress me. I'm giving it four stars because the chips often taste stale, as if they were from yesterday's batch. When I order a side of chips, I expect them to be fresher. The salsa bar was closed, so I had to pay $1.00 for pico de gallo. The location in Santee has a lovely terrace with plenty of outdoor seating. However, I noticed that some of the staff behind the counter weren't wearing aprons or name tags, which felt a bit strange. Overall, the restaurant seems clean and inviting. I will definitely come back, especially since this is my first visit since the pandemic."

This Rubios location is very busy. The staff are very friendly and the food did not disappoint. The only problem was the 'no soda ' sign.....due to the lack of co2. Check out this Rubios....it 's worth a try

After 45+ Years...We Love Rubio's! But, after waiting 45 min. for a to go order, and having COLD Beans a piece of Fish the size of a FISH STICK (actually smaller) WE are very disappointed!!! For $9.00 original meal....OUCH! Old cold chips as well.Staff was doing the best they could. Just NOT a Good Meal for the money or the long weight! Sorry Santee Rubio's, we won't beback!

Wow best Rubio's location hands down. My California bowl was steaming when I got it, it was so fresh. The chicken was juicy and hot, the staff is kind and the restaurant is very clean. The food at other locations can be disappointing, but here it is alwaysquality. I came here once before and a man loudly thanked the staff for having the best Rubio's in San Diego. He was correct.

I had an amazing lunch at Rubio's Coastal Grill! The food was fresh and incredibly tasty. The service was prompt and exceptionally friendly, enhancing the overall experience. I also loved the selection of non-soda drink options. I especially enjoyed blending the unsweetened mango tea with lemonade, and they also offer agua fresca and unsweetened black tea. Omar was fantastic! He was exceptionally friendly and offered outstanding customer service. We used to visit regularly on Tuesdays but noticed a decline in cleanliness and service. However, we decided to give it another shot, and we were happy to see improvements. The food was just as delicious as ever! The tables were clean and not sticky, and there were no gnats around the salsa and soda area. It’s wonderful to see these enhancements! The staff was friendly, and the menu options were delightful.
