"We had heard good things but never had a chance to go so dined here for the first time recently. Very casual atmosphere and seemed a good family place even though there is a lot of bar area. Aptly named place as it rustic. The place wasn't full when the 3 of us ate and the service was friendly and efficient. We ordered drinks including one of their specialty drinks. It was a bit pricy, but I appreciated the fact that it was served in a large tumbler, so they didn't skimp on the drinks. Food was a definite highlight. After ordering, it took a little a while to get served, but didn't mind at all as they clearly put a lot of care into what they cook. The presentation was great and the salmon on the Ceasar salad was grilled perfectly. I got 3 fish tacos (Mahi Mahi, Grilled Octopus, Cod) and couldn't decide which one I liked best because they were all outstanding. The third of us got the crab/lobster linguini and it also received rave reviews they didn't skimp on the seafood. Overall, this restaurant was a great find and I would definitely return."

Although the restaurant is a bit shabby and the service is unorganized, the food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. I couldn't believe they were only $12 for cocktails!

It was a windy day so we decided to dine indoors. However, we were told that all the reservations for inside were filled up, despite seeing empty tables. We were initially seated near a barking dog, so we had to move a third time. The food was delicious and the waiter was excellent, but the service was a bit slow. The atmosphere was not as nice as Los Altos.

Food was good, quantity is pretty small and the chicken strips for the kids were pretty soggy but otherwise the seafood we got tasted good. Service- staff is very nice but not very attentive. We did go on Father’s Day so it may have been busier then usual but we had to find a random worker to ask for water refills and our actual server did not come to check on the table after he gave us our food. The restaurant was not busy at all at noon on a Thursday afternoon. We sat inside and were not acknowledged at all for our 12:15pm reservation. We had to walk around the restaurant until someone noticed us. The food was tasty, the wait staff was much more attentive than the host, and our server kindly made substitutions to our dishes. The music was a bit too loud for it being empty, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Ordered different kinds of raw oysters I brought my own Tapatio bottle. Oysters were excellent tasted very fresh and very good wife ordered a New York steak with asparagus and roasted red potatoes. Everything was excellent. The steak was very big and very juicy. Had a buttery garlic flavor to it I ordered the fish and chips, surprisingly the fish and chips came with some cold slop and steak fries. The fish was cod and it was fried excellent. Also, I had a cup of clam chowder clam chowder was loaded with clams. the wife ordered two mango margaritas. The rim had tajin on it.  and you can taste the alcohol in it more than the mango juice.
