Update: Food is decent. The service is very slow. Homemade chips were amazing. Wife loved the lunch menu. Great food! Look at this place.

Extensive list of specials. The meat plate special was perfect--good variety and each cooked perfectly. Had calamari among our appetizers and was very impressed--not rubbery, but dense, meaty and flavorful! Served port wine at end of meal-on the house and unexpectedly! A great way to end a great meal! Very pleased...we will return.

Tonight, I had a fantastic dining experience at Sangria Y Tapas and Bar. The Spanish-Portuguese cuisine is served family-style, and it was simply delightful! Everything we tried was delicious, including the scallops and shrimp with crab meat and cheese, fish tacos, seafood-stuffed salmon, an apple blossom martini, and pistachio cheesecake. I've been living in Westlake for over two years and can't believe I didn't try this place sooner—it was a huge mistake! This restaurant is incredible! The staff was fantastic, and my waiter had the perfect personality for customer service. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food... wow, the food! I'm not usually a seafood lover, so I ordered a steak cooked well, and it was absolutely perfect! The mushroom wine reduction was out of this world—I almost wanted to lick my plate clean! First time visitor and I was very impressed with this establishment from the get go! My wife and I walked in and boom, a waiter was polite and ready to seat us. We sat on the patio to enjoy the summer air, but the inside was so welcoming! We walked outside to find a cozy back patio with flowers and sunshine. The patio also comes equipped with a covered bar to enjoy a game while you sip your beverage. My wife ordered a few apps while I enjoyed the stuffed salmon! Her appetizers were so good and my salmon was delicious! This place definitely impressed me and the service was great! If you have Marco helping you then you're in good hands. They have plenty of appetizers, hot foods and cold foods....

The food was outstanding, offering a wide variety of both Spanish/Portuguese and American-style dishes, making it hard to choose. We kicked off our meal with refreshing frozen strawberry margaritas. For appetizers, we indulged in hot tapas, including Carpaccio de Carne with Manchego cheese and grilled octopus, both of which were exquisite. My husband and I also shared the garlic soup, which was delicious and perfectly seasoned. For our main courses, we chose a Rib-Augen-Steak, a seafood platter, baby rack of lamb, and a meat sampler.
