"We were introduced to Piattino several years ago and have returned 6 or 7 times (it 's a bit of a distance from home) but we 've never been disappointed. The service is wonderful. We always feel welcome even though we are not regulars The menu selection is creative. We like the regional choices available on specific nights though we have opted for the nightly specials as well. Save room for dessert and definitely try the Nutella Pizza...decadent."

"I’ve been going to the Black Horse Pub for decades. It was in my rotation and I was going weekly for awhile. The Black Horse traditionally had people waiting to be seated. That’s how popular it was. Fortunately, its fun to people watch AND it used to be like a car show with Ferraris and Lamborghinis to be seen. The wait was worth it because the food and service were so good. That was the olden days… Supposedly, there were some changes in ownership and the menu changed … for awhile … then, thankfully reverted. (If it ain’t broke …. Some of my favorites the fried zucchini sticks in particular were missing. That was a big disappointment! Fortunately, the zucchini sticks were back post Covid lockdown. Here’s my complaint recently, I got a batch of fried zucchini sticks with little or no zucchini! Just a huge serving of fried coating and a skimpy serving of ranch dressing. I thought I was on “Candid Camera.” That’s inexcusable. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. The waiter couldn’t have been more apologetic or nice and took it off the check. I was unsatisfied … I’m surprised they didn’t try another batch but maybe they knew there was a problem. (Maybe that’s why it wasn’t busy Next time I go to the Black Horse I’ll look for a crowd before I go in. It could be awhile…"

"This restaurant has been a fixture in our town for many years, with its share of highs and lows when it comes to food preparation and quality. The ambiance has always been charming. On our most recent visit, we were pleased to find that the kitchen is once again serving excellent meals. However, we were surprised by the change in decor - black carpet and tabletops reminiscent of a diner. The menus we received were also a departure from the previous high-end presentation, more closely resembling those found in a casual coffee shop. Dante's, it's time to elevate your game and bring back the beautiful menus and table cloths that once set you apart. Your food deserves to be showcased in a setting that matches its quality and taste. Let's return to your former glory and pride in your ambiance!"

"I have been coming to Sammy’s since before I was old enough to remember, and have been sharing this great experience with my son (11 since he was 3 months old and sitting on the table in his car seat!! The only thing that’s really changed over the years is the duck-hunt game in the downstairs bar no longer works (I remember my father holding me up so I could hunt the ducks!! , and I’m now (more than old enough to enjoy the wonderful cocktails! The 6 oz filet, which has become my cut of choice since they started offering it, is always charred but medium rare exactly as I order it (hard for me to find at other places! , the quaint historic ambiance is the same…and where else for $40 can you get a top-quality filet, two sides (including the best fries EVER!! , a salad, dessert, and coffee? And always service with a smile! Chat with Mary Ann if you can when you place your order as you walk in- she’ll fill you in on the history of this once-speakeasy! My mother taught my son how to eat his first lobster last night….I think he enjoyed it!! He’s looking forward to bringing his own kids here some day!!"

"I ordered the FRESH MOZZARELLA WITH ARUGULA SUB, which is supposed to come with house-made roasted peppers (as stated on their website), through DoorDash. Instead, I received a sub filled with chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo. I called Sorrento's to explain the mix-up, and they apologized, promising to send their delivery driver with the correct sandwich. However, they called me back 15 minutes later to inform me that the sandwich I ordered actually comes with chicken, and they could not offer me a refund or a replacement. What I received was nothing like what I ordered."
