"This place was a tasty spot to grab lunch before viewing the great lake coastline. Husband got the reuben and loved it, as well as the flavored coffee of the day (rumchata but without alcohol . I got the pimento cheese sandwich and a cup of tomato soup and was pleasantly surprised!! I'd been debating between a regular grilled cheese with bacon and tomato or the pimento sandwich which also came with tomato and bacon. It was delicious!! The pimento cheese had a slight kick to it and was a nice consistency, though I wish there'd been a bit more of it to counteract the bacon, which had a lovely quantity! I also got the iced Chai latte which was very tasty. I highly recommend stopping in!! The decor was super cute and the waitstaff was good, if not a bit slow to check in, etc (it was busy and we were in the back room so it was fine with us!! . They were very nice!!!"

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The service was fantastic, the food was excellent, and it was very cheap. The bacon was upstairs. The view of the bay was nicely early in the morning and I would recommend it to everyone. They won't be disappointed. View menu

The restaurant was bustling, but the service, food, and overall experience were all excellent. Our group of five enjoyed sitting outside with a lovely view of the lake. The dining porch was adorned with beautiful flower boxes, adding to the charming atmosphere.

This restaurant is one of the top spots in the area for breakfast and a fantastic cup of coffee. The eggs Benedict and the [beef dish] were cooked to perfection, and the coffee was the best I've had in a long time. I even took home a bag of coffee beans because it was that good. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Our team chose the Serving Spoon for breakfast this morning and they didn’t disappoint! Of course it’s not busy in the off season but the breakfast is still spot on. Service was great and parking close. It’s worth a drive out of the way to have their breakfast. I had the veggie omelette while my coworkers chose Hash and the other had basic bacon and eggs. We all enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning! View menu

Special coffee is great. A place that serves real potatoes deserves 5 stars, hands down. So sick of rotten restaurants and their frozen potatoes. I would cook a bag of frozen potatoes at home if I did. Can speak for her hashbrows, never had em. The beef **** is my favorite and the best in the area. Far from the approved dog food that has most places. Friendly staff. Cosy atmosphere. Definitely one of the best places in the M

I spent the day studying at this restaurant and tried various items from the menu. Everything was fantastic, and the service was excellent! The staff surprised us with some unique coffee drinks, and they were surprisingly delicious. It was a cozy and comfortable spot to relax, work, and enjoy good food. The highlight was definitely the dessert! The baked goods were outstanding, and my favorite was the cheesecake. My only suggestion for improvement is that the gyro sauce could be a bit more flavorful, as it was somewhat bland. Overall, this has quickly become one of my new favorite places in the area.

"I placed an online order one Thursday afternoon around 3:45 to 3:50 PM, and the website informed me that my order would be ready at 4:15 PM. However, when I arrived at that time, the restaurant was closed. I called the restaurant, but no one answered. My bank account showed the charge as pending, which meant my funds were unavailable. I then sent a message through Facebook Messenger but received no response. I also browsed the restaurant's Facebook page, but there was no information about any schedule changes. While contemplating my next move in my car, I noticed a post on the owner's personal Facebook page regarding a change in operations—specifically, that the restaurant had closed at 2 PM to serve as a food truck at a nearby location. I drove over to that spot, but just as I was about to get out of my vehicle, I received a text notifying me that my order had been canceled at 4:32 PM. The message stated, "Unfortunately, your order could not be accepted and was canceled. Please try again. If you are still having problems ordering online, you can call us at (restaurant number). Sorry for any inconvenience." At that point, I decided to go home, as it didn't seem worth the hassle. The following day, I sent a message summarizing my experience, not seeking anything in return—just hoping for a genuine response and perhaps an apology. I suggested that they update the hours on their ordering website and post such announcements on their business page instead of the owner's personal page. Several days have passed, and I haven't received any acknowledgment. The funds were finally released back to me on Sunday, and now it’s Monday afternoon. While I can vouch for the quality of the food when I’ve had it, the lack of response regarding my frustrating experience—wasting nearly an hour—has left me unimpressed."
