"We're here for lunch one day. I didn't have much experience with Indian food, but her express lunch menu made it so easy. The food was excellent! So much taste and cooked for perfection. All for $9 lunch!! We decided to go back to dinner last night (it was that we couldn't wait to return) and had a fantastic meal again. The menu clearly explains the differences in food and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I could go on eating. So many flavors and simply excellent. My 15 years old said this was classified as their favorite food. Make yourself a taste... I mean favors (sorry couldn't help the doll) and check out Shalimar. You'll be so glad you did it!"

AMAZING! My first Shalimar experience and it did not disappoint. Leo, the owner, is excellent and takes care of everyone of his customers. Amazing food and even better experience. A must try!

Had an amazing experience eating in! The owner brought a kindness that hard to come and made some fantastic suggestions! The food is delicious (withdraw or dip), but I know that I will come every time from now on. Hoping the buffet is coming back soon!

Every single dish we ate was great. I loved the coconut and saffron. The owner was magnificent, very generous and accommodating. It is an unbelievable restaurant with a treasure of delicious food and friendly people inside. Make yourself a favor and try it! View menu

Was happy to see they are open for dining in, Leo is a real sweetheart, personable and accommodating, made a dish that wasn’t even on the menu for us. Delicious authentic Indian food nice atmosphere, we will make it a point to come back here next time we are in the area.

Had some great chicken korma earlier today when me and my beautiful lady friend dined in. Would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone, well worth the 35 minute drive. I wanted something that wasn’t on the menu, and Leo was more than happy to accommodate my request. Guys the man…. Food was A1 baby

First time ordering today! We were very impressed with the food, how neatly it was all packaged (separate meals packaged in separate brown bags, sides in one, soups in another) and it didn’t seem like there was any difference in quality compared to if we had dined in. Overall very great takeout experience and will absolutely be back in the near future. View menu

Fantastic restaurant! If you like Indian food, I think that you are pressed hard to find a better place than this. The express lunch they have until 2:30 is probably the best offer you get anywhere different from a buffet (which hopefully will be back soon). I personally eat more than enough food for probably 2-3 people a day and their expressive lunch fills me up, is made with the same great quality every time and comes out very quickly. Must stop the local restaurant!

Had a great meal today, the weekday lunch buffet, which was well stocked with a lot of variety of foods. This place has a ton of flavorful options for vegetarians. This was my first visit to the buffet and I was impressed with the food and the kindness and service of the staff and owner. I’ve had take out a few times, and the delivery has always been hot and quick! I will definitely be taking friends with me here the next time I come in. This is a photo of my second plate, where I tried to grab all the stuff I missed the first time around. ;
