"Japanese-Thai Fushion with a Super Nice restaurant staff makes this place one of those you would definitely come back to for lunch or dinner.There is so much to choose from on the menus, so today, we all decided to try something different to see if they could git the mark...I ordered Tom Kah Ramen with pork Belly, and my coworker ordered the Rainbow Bento Box with a side of spicy Edamame. The only thing I can say was we left nothing Flavor profiles for my ramen were spot on the coconut milk was creamy and the spice level was perfect.. The Bento box was packed with Fishy Goodness like eating straight from the ocean after it was hooked..Can't wait to come back and try the Miso Ramen and Japanese Makerel"

buzzing through long beach and saw this place along the pch. with a cucumber and what a surprise! the personal greeted us that we sat and looked at the wonderful full menu. we ordered and eat was perfect! very recommended to keep for a bite. big sushi, nudel, curry, safé menu.

Shin is a fantastic sushi restaurant. While I have tried many, this one really stands out. They offer the option to dine outside, which is lovely. The ambiance is exceptional. I highly recommend the autobahn rolls and the crab bombs, both of which I enjoyed. Overall, it is a great spot to visit, whether with family or for a romantic date. View menu

The Poke wasn't really good. Every other restaurant I've been to has had a bar where they prepare it to your taste. Shin restaurant offers a variety of different poke choices, but it's of their creation. Other then that the restaurant was professional, clean and had quick service. I'd probably give them a 3 1/2 stars as a more fair rating.

Update June 5th, 2021 Went for dinner at 8:15pm tonight. Sadly it was CLOSED. Saturday night, closed? Despite their Google listing, which has recently been updated, stating 10pm....Very disappointing to see. Went to 39 Degrees, 655 Redondo Ave instead. My new local for Japanese. Great vibes, great service. Really enjoyed my long lazy Sunday lunch.

My family and I enjoy trying Thai restaurants and we absolutely love them. Our favorite dish is the seafood soup, which reminded me of home after having it following church on a Sunday in LA. It was incredibly delicious and only needed some white rice to go with it. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and the high quality of the food! View menu

I got a spicy ramen with pork and a hand roll Cali roll. I was really surprised about the roll. Never had one that wasn’t cut but they there rice is real. Semi sweet when you bite into it, not just streamed. Their whole egg was cooked to perfection, fully cooked with the yolk still a bit gelatin texture that you want. Not running or hard at all. The price is a bit more then most spot so if I could put 1 1/2 dollar sign I would. But over all pretty solid for a lunch

I also tried the Mango Sushi dish, but the mango wasn't fresh; it had a somewhat stale taste, although I still found it somewhat enjoyable. On the bright side, the service was really quick and the staff were very welcoming. The waitress was attentive and our food arrived promptly. Overall, I just wish the food matched the level of hospitality. I’m not sure what this restaurant is known for, but I’m determined to give it another try in a couple of months to see if my experience improves. I have a feeling this place might be a hidden gem that just seems to be going through a rough patch. We'll see!
