"Utterly underwhelmed. I actually had the garlic bread knots, too, which were very dry and hard and tasted like a little butter brushed on it with garlic powder dusted on it.The pizza itself had an okay crust. Slightly chewy, slightly fluffy, almost like sourdough meets French bread. I wasn't all that impressed with the cheese, sauce, or toppings. What good is okay crust with not so favorable toppings and bland tomato sauce?I reheated my pizza in the oven when I got home, and I felt that the toppings weren't anything memorable, and I barely tasted the sauce or cheese. There didn't seem to be any spices, and if they used fresh tomatoes in their sauce, you'd never know because it was so light. We also had not in this photo a Brisket pizza, which was small pieces of dried Brisket and a small drizzle of bbq sauce which was not a good flavor. Neither of us liked our slices as we cut them in pieces to try. No one wanted more. This was like something where your friend makes you pizza for a movie night, and it's decent, but you don't crave it and certainly don't want to buy it.For the price and how unremarkable/unmemorable it was, this just wasn't a square pie I could get behind.Only 3 stars since this is a small business, but we all disliked our flavorless pizza.Especially with so many great pizza places in the Bay Area (not going to name names), we won't be returning here."

The warm, crispy crust is delightful, complemented by fresh chunks of clams and a delicious hint of garlic.

I really liked the slice of pizza and the salad. The salad was filled with plenty of tomatoes and cucumbers.

The frozen pre-baked crusts didn't impress me. The staff seemed to lack knowledge about service standards. Overall, it was just an average experience, to be honest.

It's a fantastic spot for watching sports! Just a heads-up, though: they won’t inform you if they switch the channel. The menu is extensive, and everything I've tried has been delicious. They also have lunch specials from Monday to Friday. My favorites are the meatballs and the garlic knots—so tasty! Update: you can now add clams and garlic to your pizza slice! The staff was friendly today, too. View menu

Review #100!!~Review for pizza only~Totally underrated and great local spot. Have a great dining area with a tv to hang out as well as the nice outdoor space of bay meadows near by!Pizzas are delicious and filling. The pizzas are on the doughier side with a crunchy bottom and a ton of fresh ingredients. True Sicilian style. Will not disappoint if this is the type of pizza you are looking for!Note: plenty of nearby free street parking.

Good tasting pizza, although nothing extraordinary.Prices are affordable and don't break the bank. They have pizzas already in the case that they toast up for you (at your discretion) but also can make things in the back. The garlic knots here were a hit with my partner but were a little too strong for me personally.Staff are nice and there's quite a bit of room for you to dine in and share a meal with a group if needed. Location is good and there's quite a bit of parking (outside of Blue Bottle's busy hours I'm assuming).Nice no frills pizza joint.

This has become my new favorite pizza spot! As someone who is gluten and dairy-free, I was thrilled to find that they offer not only gluten-free pizzas but also vegan cheese options. They even serve slices! They make their own gluten-free crust, and it was so delicious that I was skeptical if it was truly gluten-free. To ease my doubts, the chef brought me the gluten-free flour they use for the crust, which really impressed me. The only improvement I’d suggest is to add more toppings to the pizzas. The service is extremely friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. View menu

This place was a great little find when we were in the area. Pizza by the slice and for a decent price as well. The service was great, and the lady at the counter gave us some great recommendations on what was good, and just provided really standout service for a place where you order at the counter and seat yourself. The pizza was good, but it was HEAVY. For someone who can put a few slices away, I was stuffed after one and a quarter, so take that for what it's worth. I had a slice of pepperoni and branched out to do a slice of the clam and garlic. I was pretty nervous and expected it to be awful, but it was delicious and a combination that I highly recommend, because you won't find it anyw...

When I visited Slices, I got a large pie of the New York style pepperoni pizza, and an order of garlic knots. Starting off with the garlic knots these were very solid. Crispy outside, while still nice and chewy inside. The a nice amount of garlic was sprinkled on top which definitely helped in flavor. Now for the main part the pizza. Overall, an above average pizza in the Bay Area. The ratio of cheese, sauce and dough were very good. The pepperonis were pretty good as well, a few of them were just starting to cup. I think it more of them got a bit more cupping action, it would have elevated it more, giving it a bit more texture to each bite. The crust was interesting, where it wasn't uniform...

"Curry Hyuga had long been on my culinary radar, and today, I finally had the chance to experience it. The occasion arose as I needed to pick up my partner at SFO later, and given the mere 10-minute drive from the restaurant to the airport, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to satiate my appetite and make the most of my time, rather than aimlessly circling around the airport. Conveniently, there are numerous public parking lots scattered throughout the town. The restaurant opens its doors at 11:30 am, and I arrived promptly at 11:25 am, only to find a queue already forming outside, as depicted in the photo. The attentive server, Yuki promptly greeted each customer and kept my water glasses filled, setting a positive tone for the dining experience.Opting for their Signature Curry Rice Entree, which features their caramelized onion curry accompanied by shredded cabbage, creamy potato salad, and Fukujin pickles, I decided to elevate my meal by adding Chicken Cutlet Katsu Curry with Chicken Karaage as additional toppings. To my amazement, my order was delivered to my table in a mere 3 minutes, which left me thoroughly impressed. Curry Hyuga's standout feature is their incredibly tender meat, perfectly complemented by their mouthwatering curry—a true masterpiece with Kanazawa-style sweetness and richness that sets it apart. To further customize your dish, they offer a selection of five different spices: Ichimi Togarashi, Jalapeno Pepper, Pequin Pepper, Wiri Wiri Pepper, and Orange Habanero. I had the pleasure of sampling all of them, and personally, I found the Wiri Wiri Pepper and Orange Habanero powder to be standout choices. Their spiciness elevated the curry to a whole new level, complemented by the unique fragrance of the peppers."

"I made reservations here for Valentine's day and everything was perfect! Their service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and with each dish it was cool how they talked about the food and explained some of the tastes and flavors just before we began eating. And they get huge props for accommodating my dietary restrictions and modifying almost every item on their menu to something I could eat! (5/5) Osetra caviar I normally hate caviar, but this one was really good! It's cured so it's a bit salty (4/5) Sauteed baby abalone Pretty good, although it doesn't quite compare to ones I've had in the past. That said, one doesn't eat abalone often, so I think the bar for abalone is pretty high (5/5) Warm lobster salad Wow! The lobster was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Also I thought the charred avocado was interesting; they blowtorch the avocado to give it a slightly tougher texture on the outside, mirroring the lobster (4/5) Braised Lamb Ragu The lamb was exploding with spices and flavor, although it was a tad dry inside. The pappardelle was perfectly al dente (4/5) Black Cherry Sorbet Pretty good, the puffed black rice was a bit hard (one of the pieces was like a rock) but the sorbet was flavorful without being too strong (5/5) Hokkaido A5 Wagyu This was the star of the show. Have you ever had steak that melts in your mouth like butter?? The only problem with this dish is that there were only 2 slices of steak! I wish there were 3! (5/5) Spicy Kiss Passion Fruit Juice They made a modification and gave me a small shot of spicy, fizzy passion fruit juice. The chili had a lot of heat but actually went well with the sourness and fizz of the juice. I would never have though of making passion fruit spicy, but it was pretty tasty (4/5) Cubed fruit stack I don't know what to call this since they also did an entirely separate fruit dessert for me, but it was essentially a Rubik's cube made of watermelon, kiwi, and strawberry, topped with a dark chocolate covered strawberry. (5/5) House made meringue I also don't normally like meringue, but this was like candy and tasted amazing! Thanks Viognier for a wonderful evening and accommodating my dietary needs, everything was solid!"
