"I’m giving this restaurant two stars mainly for the good service; otherwise, the food was disappointing and quite pricey. We ordered the sampler plate for our meal, and while the ribs were the highlight, they were over-smoked. The pulled pork was dry and had an unpleasant taste, and the brisket was also not good. The sides were average. I almost forgot to mention the appetizer: we tried the pulled pork egg rolls. I didn't enjoy them much, but my wife thought they were okay. The BBQ sauce tasted almost entirely like molasses with very few spices. In a good BBQ place, seasoning, sauce, and smoking techniques are crucial, and they definitely need improvement. The sampler dinner cost $30, which felt excessive given the amount of meat served and the lack of flavor I expected."

The atmosphere was delightful, the service was excellent, and the food was enjoyable. I couldn't ask for anything more.

I wouldn't go back to this restaurant. It's a BBQ place that was out of ribs, and the portions of mac and cheese were quite small.

I had a fantastic experience! The service was fast, the restaurant was very clean, and the staff was respectful. The food was absolutely amazing!

The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes had an artificial taste, while the pulled pork was bland. Additionally, the service was incredibly slow. Overall, I'm quite disappointed. View menu

The food was pretty disappointing, although the service was good. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. The chicken fingers were undercooked, and the smoked ribs and brisket had no smoky flavor whatsoever.

Save your money and choose another place. You don't want to regret spending calories on a meal that leaves you unsatisfied. The BBQ sauce is especially unappealing. Honestly, I can make better meals at home.

I faced an extremely long wait time, and to make matters worse, they ran out of the dish I had ordered during the early seating. There was a chilly draft in the restaurant, and the service did not meet expectations. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. View menu

We waited 25 minutes just for someone to take our drink order, and then it took another 25 minutes to actually get our drinks. After that, our food order was taken, but after sitting there for more than two hours without receiving our meals, we ultimately decided to leave.

Since the buffet limited our options for full dinners, we chose sandwiches instead. We tried the brisket, pulled pork, and a burger. The brisket and pulled pork looked quite similar and seemed to be covered in the same sauce. Regrettably, the highlight of my meal turned out to be the fries on my plate. I was informed that the burger was somewhat burnt on the outside but cooked to a medium-rare inside, just as I requested. Although it was advertised as a jalapeño burger, it lacked any heat. While I'm glad we finally gave this place a shot, I doubt we will return.

"After hearing rave reviews about this spot as one of the best sushi places in the Hudson Valley, I decided to give it a try, despite my skepticism about fine sushi in this area, having lived here for many years. What I experienced was nothing short of disappointing. I was willing to overlook the strip mall location and lackluster ambiance – after all, sometimes great food can be found in less-than-ideal settings. When we arrived, we saw Chef Makio and a young student behind the sushi bar, looking serious and dedicated to their craft, which gave me hope for a good meal. We ordered a spread of items, including nigiri, a chirashi bowl, and several rolls. Let me emphasize that this restaurant is not cheap. We frequently enjoy sushi and are more than willing to pay top dollar for quality. We’re fortunate to have access to great sushi in NYC and know how to distinguish good from mediocre. Sadly, this place is grossly overpriced for what turned out to be subpar sushi. The chirashi bowl was among the worst I’ve ever had, featuring poor-quality sushi rice and tasteless fish. It even contained those cheap crab sticks! The nigiri was low-grade, and the $30 special roll was inferior to the $10 rolls I've had from takeout places. It’s disheartening to see such inflated prices for what amounts to bad sushi pretending to be high-end. It seems many patrons either don’t recognize the difference or simply don’t care. It’s perplexing to see such positive reviews given the experience I had. If you really want good sushi, drive an hour south to Okinami in Norwood, NJ; you'll find better quality at a lower price. I don’t know where Chef Makio sources his fish or where he trained, but I won’t be returning to find out. Improvement is needed, or at the very least, prices should reflect the true quality of the food served – which currently aligns more closely with an ordinary mall sushi joint, albeit packaged with unnecessary fanfare."

"To start, I usually genuinely enjoy this establishments food when I order takeout. It was ordinary Italian-American fare. The people at the takeout counter seemed friendly and genuine. Unfortunately, the dine-in experience was below average and the vibe was generally uncomfortable. The inside was decorated like a nursing homes Rec room. The floor was dirty and the atmosphere was uninviting. I went with a couple family members to have a pizza and relax one evening. We were rushed throughout the entire experience… It took all of 30 mins for us to order and eat then be rushed out the door. The older lady waitressing for our table was quite rude. Every time we said thank you she would not respond and every request we had felt like we were a complete bother to her. She seemed to have an attitude the entire time. The other waitressing staff was the same way. Near the end of our meal the bill was dropped at our table without a word and we got up to pay and leave. I waited nearly 5 minutes after being ignored by the staff. I then proceeded to try to pay at the other counter near the door and they all suddenly noticed and acted like I was trying to dine and dash. The staff was rolling their eyes and whispering to each other while I waited to finally pay, making me feel extremely awkward. I will not be giving any more of my hard earned money to this establishment, takeout or not."
