"they had good food before, but something happened wene greed overhauled quality. they have a new practice to give them less meat in their pita sandwich, which they replace the meat with a hairdryer. I noticed that the other day wene a lamb pita sandwich and I wee in it, I had a mouthful of kartoffels. I gave up that sandwich and counted 3 thin meat slices. it seems that they change the meat with bark meat and lamb they really know how to cheat. I really annoyed myself with this new work to give them less what they order and calculate them more! for less! of everything they order."

The shrimp pita sandwich was amazing! We were promptly seated and the service was excellent. My friend and I really enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend it. They also offer a lunch special with pita sandwiches, excluding the shrimp. View menu

Amazing service, amazing food. I accidentally placed my order at the wrong location on 3rd Avenue instead of 13th Avenue, but the staff graciously delivered it to my address even though I was outside the delivery zone. If I ever order in the Bay Ridge area again, I will definitely choose this restaurant. Thank you!

I stopped by today because I wanted to try something new and this place is truly something else. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Platter and it came out fresh, juicy and delicious. The waitstaff was very polite and they keep this charming little place immaculately clean. I will definitely come back again in the future!

I had a great experience at this restaurant. However, I found it to be a bit inconsistent. I usually order the chicken kebab with sauce, which I love, but sometimes it's not prepared with the same seasoning and level of cooking. Last time, it was burnt and had no seasoning. Despite this, the food is usually very good. View menu

This is the first time we tried this place. It was clean, except for the lone fly that was being an annoyance. The food was really good, and reasonable priced. We usually go to Blue Door, but will probably frequent this place more often. The food is just as good as Blue Door, and half the price. Good to know they have a backyard. Will be back soon.

After passing by many times, we finally decided to try this restaurant for the first time today. The gyro sandwich was absolutely delicious. I opted for the lunch special while my companion tried the Tomato Salad with Grilled Shrimp. Despite tomatoes not being in season, the salad was surprisingly tasty. The hand-cut fries were perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. The dining experience was cozy, with well-maintained outdoor seating and a friendly staff.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
